To Our Heroes; the Ultimate Champions
There are many blessings to count, and one of them I am surely grateful for is my freedom. This country; the United States of America has given me something to be proud of, and appreciate with an absolute respect and honor for the men and women who have laid down their lives for us.
There are heroes…

Brainstorming Session
I met with one of my friends who happens to be on my DREAM TEAM. She and I had a brain storming session. She shares my vision and "gets me". She and I met over five years ago. From my meeting with her I came away with some notes and observations you may find valuable as you meet with others on your way to creating work you love.

Continue“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually,…

I read a blog by Andy Traub yesterday and it was great and also got me thinking. What if we didn’t worry about failing, how would we live then? What would our results be if we used the energy to worry and focused it on what we were doing? We are going to fail at things in life but if you are not failing you…

To all who have made this great nation, THE GREATEST!
A simple message on this Memorial Day 2011:
To all the brave men and women who gave their all, to all our amazing veterans who continue to display sincere American pride, and to all who are presently serving in the greatest military force the world has and will ever know...
THANK YOU!!!
And to our God, the…

No holiday for the creative type....
Today is Memorial Day, and the country is honoring those who have died in our nation's service as is done every year. As you spend today with family, friends and neighbors be observant. Look at the products around you. Someone had to create them. As you stand near a grill, or on a deck look at how items are constructed and designed.

Divine Connections (People Who Make Your “Baby” Jump!)
I had something really unexpected and wonderful happen this week and this morning as I was watching Joel Osteen, I knew I had to put it in writing and share it as his message confirmed it! He spoke today about connecting with people God brings into your life – those who inspire, challenge and encourage you. These last several weeks have been really stressful for me. I work a job which I’ve had for 6 years as I’m in the processing of building my Biblical health coaching business. I work…

Summertime and the livin' is easy.....
Summer is almost here. Children and teachers are eager for these last few weeks to fly by. Parents are still trying to secure summer camps, day care and the like. Some schools are year round, and that can be a great thing too.
As you create work you love, you may not be able to take a summer vacation. Your plans for the…

When the student is ready...
I spent many years as a very busy single-parent. Whew, I'm glad that merry-go-round has stopped. Man, divorce is hard, but that's for another blog. I have three children and my daughter is the youngest. We have a great relationship. She's grown into a wonderful young lady with a big heart, and a gritty-get it done work ethic (She gets' that from her Momma! )…

FAIL MORE! Then adjust, plan, and act!
I just read a great quote from Unstoppable Confidence, by Kent Sayre. "There is no such thing as failure. There are only results. . . If you get results that YOU don't like, you'll naturally adjust your behavior based upon the results to persist until you achieve our outcome."
In the DISC profile I tend to be a high C, so viewing failure as an outcome and not a state of mind or being is a game changer for me. What about you? How does failure affect your personal growth…
