Profile Information
- How did you hear about 48Days.NET, and what do you hope to get out of being a part of this community?
- I heard about it from my father, Dan Miller! My hope for the net is that it broadens my community of movers and shakers--those that truly live out inspiration and motivation in their lives, and strive to make an impact in their lives--in every aspect. I'd also love to further develop discussions on my biggest passion: marriage/family relationships.
- What is your current work situation? Employee, self-employed, generating any income on your own?
- Insanely optimistic dreamer and implementer, gung ho to take life by the horns and learn from it! (Also fond of all things crafty or creative).
On the biz side, for the past 11 1/2 years I have run my father Dan Miller’s business, www.48Days.com. Through this I have worked in and managed: customer service, shipping and fulfillment, marketing, web design, product development and design, social media, graphics, and worked side-by-side with my father leading Coaching with Excellence and coaching coaches on how to build their own coaching businesses. My forte is specifically in the area of personality styles and utilizing the DISC profile reports.
My newest endeavor is taking my blog, www.MamaSaysNamaste.com, to the next level and making a business out of it. My main focus is marriage and family, working with the foundation of understanding personality styles and then applying that to creating a family where "the uniqueness in each of us strengthens all of us". I address topics on communication, education, parenting, love, and powerful positive attitudes and relationships.
So what is my focus right now? Helping Mamas understand personality styles to create a connected family you WANT to come home to.” I take families from surviving to thriving by helping them uncover how the uniqueness in each of us (their personality style) strengthens all of us. Using the profile, step-by-step action plans and collaboration exercises, I work with mamas from the inside out so they can not only BE the good in their family, but they can SEE the good as well.
- And then...what is your goal/dream for your work life?
- I would love to grow www.MamaSaysNamaste.com to be a resource of encouragement and practical application for any families looking to create a deeper family bond and understand how the uniqueness in each of us strengthens all of us.
- How about your personal life? Any specific goals or achievements or dreams you are pursuing (or want to pursue)?
- My dream is to be able to travel and explore the world with my kids and my husband. I want to build www.MamaSaysNamaste.com to the point that it sustains our income and allows for me to coach and write from anywhere we choose to live/travel. We are currently transitioning to more of a travel lifestyle by putting our home up on airbnb, getting a trailer, and making plans to travel the states in an RV starting fall of 2016! We'll ultimately have our house paid off, airBnB/rent it while we are gone, and world-school with our girls.
- What would you say are your strongest talents? How are you 'wired' and what can you offer to the world (it's OK if you don't know yet, but knowing is key to pursuing your dreams!)?
- My core competencies are in communication, mediation, personaliy profiles, leading, delegating, listening, working with and coaching others. I have a heart for motivating and am truly passionate about giving back to others and sharing tools to make their home life their "happily ever after".

Feeling a little alone and lost?
Sometimes, you just don’t get someone. You don’t connect. You don’t understand why in the world they talked to you that way, or why they have to obsess over every little detail.

Ashley, It was so great to meet you at Innov48. The conference was beyond amazing, but honestly, the biggest blessing what seeing a family in unity that are all working towards the same cause. I loved seeing each member of the family (children, grandchildren, in-laws, etc) all contributing their talents toward the vision. I wish you could bottle and sell the talent that exists within you and your family, but until then, I will settle for cyber-stalking you on 48days.net to see what all you come up with next! : )

Thanks for the information on the different coaching programs that you offer. I am a longtime fan of your Dad's and I would love to do the 6 month program as I would do the work and I think his and your input would benefit me greatly. I'm not in a position to be able to swing the 6 month program at this time, as my husband and I are finishing up Dave Ramsey's baby step program.
However, in the meantime I have joined the Coaching with Excellence Group, and will work through the Entrepreneur Start Up Kit.
