Driving yesterday and today from Portland, Oregon to Salt Lake City, Utah. What beautiful country. The hues on the mountains....the colors of the fields, the wild life. Absolutely beautiful. Listened to business training cd's (probably a good idea since I'm coming to a business meeting) and worship music. Great day!

Have you ever felt like you're in a row boat, paddling as fast and as hard as you can, trying to pull the Titanic along fast enough to keep her from sinking?
Some days, that's what it feels like to work for someone else again. No matter how hard you try, no matter how clear it is to you and how hard you wave your arms and yell... they're still going down.
So the question is... how long to you stay tied to the ship, trying to save it? When is it wiser to cut the rope, let the…

The answer is yes. In the tradition of classical liberalism much of the logic and reasoning is done by the use of words and so the model of laissez-faire or an unhampered market economy is visualized in the minds of the readers of the authors of the causal-realistic approach to economics.
The most extensive and intensive and unified example of a causal-realistic model of the unhampered market economy is the Divine Economy Model © which laid the foundation for the divine economy…

Have you ever had one of those moments (or one of those days) when your mind just seemed blank. You tried to focus. You tried to gather your thoughts. You concentrated. You pondered. Yet, nothing good came from all the effort and energy expended.
Our loved ones suffering from dementia experience this frequently. A thought will come to mind, but only part of the thought or memory is there. They may try with diligence, but the memory will not surface. Why does that…

I saw a post on Facebook today, it was one of those picture cards:
This got me thinking. Is this one of the reasons I've been having so much trouble figuring out what to do? I'm forever coming up with ideas for business opportunities, or even just cool things to start. I have a line of small…

Both of these are mentioned in the Austrian economics literature but they are quite different. Conceptually they are both models in the sense that they are attempts to picture certain conditions for the purpose of gaining insight into how the economy works.

While traveling surrounded by the beauty of the Swiss Alps, my companion began to praise someone—my villain. Thousands of miles away from home, and the specter of my pain had found me.
We hear forgiveness brings freedom and hope the memory of our pain will never bother us again. However, in many cases the person who caused our pain hasn’t changed. We continue to work, worship, and live around them. We run into people who believe their pretty pretense. They jab our wounds, and we feel…

Good evening everyone -
After 15 years in the insurance industry and now being asked twice to come up with a procedures manual I have decided to write a generic one for any small insurance agency to use. I am not well versed with the eBook system and am looking for any one to help.
I am attaching the main document, but there will be sample forms included that I have come up with over the years. I have modified some of them so as to not upset current or past agencies I have…
