Having goals can sure keep the deep winter months chugging along. One of my goals this year it to read two non-fiction books per month. With books being so short these days, it is easier than ever to knock out a few.
For February 2013, I read:
How Do You Kill 11 Million People? by Andy Andrews (audio)
The Traveler's Gift by Andy Andrews
Significant Living by Jerry and Shirley Rose
Psalms by God
There are so many…

Yesterday, started out as a good day. I was fortunate enough to be a guest on Caroline Gavin's podcast- PurposefulPathwayRADIO.com. Being featured on a radio broadcast was exciting and a new experience. I must admit I was nervous prior to the event, but;

WHO ARE YOU LISTENING TO?
Three questions keep running through my mind:
1. Who is speaking into my life?
2. Am I really listening?
4. Am I giving valuable output to others?
This morning I listened to a podcast while on the treadmill that was not only inspirational but also sparked the nagging afterthought of “who is speaking into my life?" Interestingly, that is not at all what…

Who Am I?

We live in a world of extreme performance consciousness. From the time we are young children, it seems that there is an unspoken, (or at times even spoken), expectation placed on us by people; even those we love. A little child says, "look at me Daddy, watch what I can do". A little girl dresses up in mommy's clothes, comes prancing into the living room, even…

I think I can breathe again
I have been focus on content creation since December for my online classes and e-books. My friends have reviewed and I had to make changes. I realized I needed to add an additonal chapter to an ebook. I submitted my last updated changes today. I will give myself tommorrow off then on 1 March start focusing on my Marketing Plan.

My Intentional Life Journey: Component 7 ~ Planning an Ideal Week
STOP WASTING TIME! One of the easiest ways to start living intentionally is by designing and sticking to an ideal week. This doesn't mean that you plan out every moment of the day, but it does help you maintain balance in how your time is spent.

Have a tendency to spend too much time on one thing, only to find other priorities are falling to the way side? It…

I often write about doing something meaningful that matters. Sometimes it's about making a connection, rescuing a life or just helping someone out. Many times it's about treating people with respect and dignity or just providing inspiration. It should be easy to look around and see scores of people in need of help.

The One Thing I cannot live without
On the radio they were talking about the one thing people couldn’t live without, and I heard things like slippers, coffee, and other self-involved crap. So what can’t I live without?
There are lots of things I would prefer not to live without, but for what…. Would I rather die, than live without.

My Stroke Story and Meeting St. Raphael
Hi everyone,
I have finally published my site, albeit not quite complete, as of this past Sunday night. It is the one year anniversary of my stroke and admittance to the hospital.
Please take a look and give me your opinion, thoughts, comments and if you think it might help someone, please pass it on. It is not my story to keep to myself, even though I am the one that went through this "catastrophic" event. I…

It's been awhile since I last posted here. Life got really busy!
During my hiatus, I relocated back to the Midwest, started a new jobs, and fell in love.
As a result, I let some things in my life slide.
However, now I feel more settled and ready to resume developing my coaching skills. I am looking forward to writing and reading more blogs on 48 Days.

It seems we share a common problem with other bloggers, business owners and organizations. In order to succeed you must connect with people. It doesn't matter what you're selling, pitching or want to become. Until you have built a loyal following, nobody really notices your efforts.

158 – Seize The Day
Stop the Glorification of Busy!
It’s not uncommon for you to ask someone how their day is going and the response you get is, “I’m really busy”. You may even answer the same way when someone asks how your day, week, or month is going.
Unfortunately, if you and your spouse…

Forgiveness Brings FREEDOM—Part 1
“Will you help me renew my mind?” The airport shuttle driver surprised me. He obviously had overheard me talking with the woman across the aisle. His landlady, who called herself a Christian, had deeply wronged him. After empathizing, I tried to help him see forgiving the woman would free him from his pain. Forgiveness brings freedom to the one who forgives.
One thing I share…
