I don’t know about you but, I have a hard time seeing myself as a leader. Some VA’s do, but it is a role I have resisted taking on, it’s uncomfortable to even think about it. It also makes me ask the question “Why does this make me so uncomfortable?” and “Why do I prefer to stay behind the scenes?”.
The answer?
This is where I am comfortable and I’m not required to take chances and risk too much.
I’m…

The Magic of Giving Freely of Yourself
The world today can be pretty unforgiving and cut-throat so it’s no surprise we often operate in a “fend for yourself” mode and mindset as we work diligently to make ends meet in what is a challenging economic time for many.…

To stretch one’s legs in pursuit of calling and purpose can quickly lead to muscle fatigue and exhaustion.
Allowing it to pursue and chase you, can be exhilarating and effortless. –JB
Being pursued, instead of being in pursuit, is an empowering concept for several reasons. One is that it removes the self-imposed pressure that comes with trying to “latch on to”, “acquire”, or “get” anything.
With the removal of pressure, comes…

Using Technology to Simplify Appointment Scheduling
What is worse than phone or email tag to schedule a simple phone call or meeting? The back and forth and back and forth, just when you think you got it, someone sneaks in and schedules the time before you get the
confirmation. Sometimes it takes longer to schedule the face to face than the
actually call or meeting.
So what is…

Oh My God
I recently came across some Peter Rodger's information about a movie he directed entitled Oh My God. Peter's father is a photojournalist and Peter had the opportunity to travel to 23 countries
to ask, "what does God mean to you?" He states the movie is not about
religion but about people's perception of God.
Watch the trailer and see the panel discussion here.…

LBSN WHAT? Don't worry. We will get there.
For many of us, social media starts and stops one of a few 800 pound gorillas in the social media universe. We have come to think of social media as merely Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and that other one....oh

Debt Will Be With Us For the Rest of Our Lives? Or will it?
This is a rather hotly contested topic to present on 48days.net, somehow though, I don't wish to pour mixed feelings, Dan Miller does great work within His organization. I don't wish to start a movement, but to simply gauge a conversation in seeing how people wage their thoughts, their minds, in such a difficult topic as the links below converse. I welcome all opinions pro and con, and again wish to convey that when it comes to finding a career, which I am still looking, hunting, it seems…

It is a well known fact that our government spending is totally out of control. Personally, I realize that we have to be good stewards with our own money but
what if the elected people go nuts with our hard earned money? How do we protect ourselves if they have
absolutely no regard for the Constitution? I guarantee you that most of them
have never read the document. Here are some stats:…

Your success will always be driven by the relationships you have, and stalled by the ones you don’t have. –JB
The world is filled with people who are standing by, waiting to help you get to your next level. Unfortunately, somewhere along the line, the ego steps in and tries to convince us that we are alone in this
journey and that you are separate from everything that matters.
That is simply untrue.
We are all parts of the same body.
Whatever you are seeking…
