It's My Pleasure

During the rush of the season I am often reminded of this quote from Dr. Martin Luther King. “If a man is called to be a street sweeper, he should sweep streets even as Michelangelo painted, or Beethoven composed music, or Shakespeare wrote poetry. Does your child not “fit in?” My first response to such a situation is, “BRAVO! Your child doesn’t fit in!”

Do not have any wisdom? Get some NOW!

I ran into my financial mess because I thought I was doing the right thing for our family.

The key being “I”. I even discounted my wife’s input.

For all the men who are reading this: Do not discount

what your wives are saying. They have an innate sense that we do not

Instead of purchasing gifts this Christmas/holiday season, how about creating an "experience" such as inviting a friend over for an afternoon of coffee and conversation in front of the fire...Or teach kids/grandkids/nieces/nephews an age appropriate skill such as cooking, sewing, crafting, woodworking, gardening, fishing etc...Create an "experience" and a lifetime of memories!

How Can I Help?

You'll notice the best wait staff asks questions the right way. Instead of asking "would you like dessert?", they ask "what can I bring you for dessert?".
