Crossthreads

My first job was at a gas station pumping gas, washing windshields and fixing flat tires. When replacing a tire the lug nuts must be placed on the threaded studs in proper alignment; or else, they will crossthread ... Crossthreading damages the threads and they no longer work properly ... Make sure whatever you start is in proper alignment before going any further. A good start is the best way to a successful ending.
