New opportunities

After 21+ years with the same company, I was told last Friday morning that more cuts were necessary and that I no longer had a job. I was surprised, but not shocked. I thought that our IT group had already cut all the staff we could afford to, while still providing adequate service to the business. I was the IT Applications Manager, and my application development team had already been reduced from a high of 24 people down to 11. And last month my boss was let go as well.

Takeing a 90 day challeng- Need a partner for success

In Franklin

Arrived in Franklin about an hour ago. I have always loved the Nashville, Franklin area, its such a beautiful place with the rolling hills. I am staying in Nashville by the airport cause I had some free nights to use unfortunately not at a hotel located in Franklin.

We try and mentally squint our eyes to see into the future of our children in ways that will help us to shepherd them into the right decisions. And I wonder if at times we’re looking for the wrong milepost along the way.
