Profile Information
- How did you hear about 48Days.NET, and what do you hope to get out of being a part of this community?
- I have heard Dan speak on Dave Ramsey's show and other podcasts. I have read the book 48 days and I've listened to the 48 days podcasts.
I want to work other people in the community for online teaching and instruction. When I worked in the corporate world I was an instructional designer and I loved it. I'm now taking that talent and using it in my music.
- What is your current work situation? Employee, self-employed, generating any income on your own?
- I am a private music teacher. I teach students of all ages and I offer instruction on many different instruments.
- And then...what is your goal/dream for your work life?
- From beginners to the more advanced musician, I want to get as many people jazzed about music as possible.
I want people who learned how to play an instrument early in life and then put it away and thought they would never play it again, to rediscover how wonderful and rewarding it can be to pick that instrument back up.
I want to teach the person who has always wanted to play an instrument and have added it to their bucket list.
I'm really excited to start offering my music instruction online. I'm working on creating videos and sound files for anyone interested in learning to play an instrument or for a teacher to use that may want to enhance their current teaching program.
- How about your personal life? Any specific goals or achievements or dreams you are pursuing (or want to pursue)?
- I'm really into fitness. One of my goals this year is to be able to bench press 100 pounds!
- What would you say are your strongest talents? How are you 'wired' and what can you offer to the world (it's OK if you don't know yet, but knowing is key to pursuing your dreams!)?
- One of my strongest talents is designing a program that works with a specific person and their style of learning. We all don't learn the same way. I have learned over the years that the student will learn much faster if I can identify how they learn and then teach them in a way that focuses on their learning style.
