Profile Information

How did you hear about 48Days.NET, and what do you hope to get out of being a part of this community?
I heard about it on Dan's podcast. I hope to connect with a group of like minded people so we can mutually share strategies to get to the next level in life and business.
What is your current work situation? Employee, self-employed, generating any income on your own?
Practicing dentist, Christian personal finance blogger, writer, and speaker. Will be soon earning income through my upcoming get out of debt online course.
And then...what is your goal/dream for your work life?
I love being a dentist. I also love writing, blogging, and creating courses. I envision a day where I'm earning enough alternate income that I have to come to a decision whether dentistry or blogging is a better use of my time. I want to be time independent.
How about your personal life? Any specific goals or achievements or dreams you are pursuing (or want to pursue)?
My goal is to continue to pursue my passion of teaching people about Christian financial principles and to make a significant income from it (at least 6 figures). I want to have the freedom to work from anywhere. My goal is to be able to pay cash for my kids college education.
What would you say are your strongest talents? How are you 'wired' and what can you offer to the world (it's OK if you don't know yet, but knowing is key to pursuing your dreams!)?
I'm a good communicator and writer. I'm good at putting people at ease and addressing people's concerns in a way that makes them feel comfortable. I'm naturally introverted but have gotten much better at putting myself out there.

Funny. I just got back from the dentist this morning. I thought I had escaped them for another four months, but here you are! ;) Sorry, but the stigma of inflicting pain on innocent victims, and then taking their money from them, comes with the territory! And, no, I haven't read How to Win Friends and Influence People, but perhaps I need to give it a go!

And another odd coincidence: my wife's dad passed away just last week. He lived in Hendersonville for years before moving to Colorado in 2008. I was there once...thought it was a very nice place filled with friendly people.

Anyway, enough of that. Thanks, Jason, for the friend request. I wish you much success in achieving your life goals.
