StudioPress is the best around and I use them for a lot of my websites.

I use these plugins and LOVE them!

Will it is checked. The crazy part is when I am in the dashboard and view the updated blog from there the comment box is present...then when you view the blog from outside the dashboard it is not. Comments are now showing on the testimonies page...I was thinking about the post and re-adding it with all the correct boxes checked...any thoughts?
Comment by Will Ratliff on February 24, 2016 at 10:39am Have you looked in your Dashboard under "Settings" and "Discussion" to make sure the "Allow people to post comments on new articles" box is checked? It's the 3rd one from the top under "Default article settings" section.
Will: Thank you for this. You are correct, when I go to the pages and check that box the comment field does appear. My problem is my post is on a custom link as the home page and so If go to the post and check that box...I get nothing that allows comments below the post....any thoughts?

I looked at your site, and it doesn't look like you have any "posts" on there, only pages. Make sure you have them enable for each page.
Go to your dashboard and click on "Pages". Then go to your first page and just underneath the title, click on "Quick Edit". You should get something that looks like this:
Make sure the "Allow Comments" box is checked. See if that works.
Michael: Thanks for your response. I am using Accent as my theme. On the example they show posts... is that what you are saying to check?
Comment by Michael Blaes on February 24, 2016 at 7:33am You need to check your theme and see if comments are shown. it will be under appearance under customize or under the theme dashboard itself
Folks: Good Morning! I just launched my WordPress blog this past Monday and have the comments enabled at the post and also in the admin area, but they are still not showing on the blog itself...I would really appreciate your insight. The site is itsanewday.today
Comment by Michael Elliott on January 29, 2016 at 4:36pm Hey Bryan,
I was looking at your Engaging Missions website. How do you get your website to reconfigure the layout depending on the screen size? I noticed that when I made the window smaller, the links across the top of the screen went away and a menu button showed up. Is that just a function of the particular theme you are using?

I'm using it on my own sites and I've used it on several others.

Comment by Brian Seim on January 29, 2016 at 8:04am Emily, I'm using that theme on http://lifechampion.coach it is very flexible for someone who is comfortable with grid systems like bootstrap without having to dig into the code. I still need to do a bunch of work and re-organize my front page. It has quite a few features mostly useful and some useless. I provide ElegantThemes templates to all of my Wordpress clients if they want one. One thing to be aware of with Elegant Themes is many of the themes don't include the photography they are displayed with in the demos. Not a big deal but important to be aware of.
