I speak at a lot of events for business owners and entrepreneurs and regularly get asked how to grow a business and get found online. While there are many ways to do this, I've found that these 10 items are the best way to get started. And the good thing is that these items don't take a lot of time.
Every company wants to get leads and sales from…

I get a lot of questions from people asking if they should use a blog and/or social media as a part of their business. And I give them a resounding, "YES"!!!
Your website should be like building a fire. The bigger the fire, the more noticeable it is from afar, and the more people will come to it to get the benefits of a nice warm fire.
If you want a fire to be visible from a distance, you should throw on as much wood as possible. But, you start small with…

That was the quote my friend told me while interviewing for another job. He has grown frustrated with his current boss and way of working at his current company. The new company is known for selecting a few qualified people but letting them work with their strengths on their
own time.
It was his quote that got me thinking…what ladder are you on and where…

Jason Etters said… Hey Jeff,
This is what I am looking to do and the type of person I am looking for.
I am working to start a youth coaching programs resource website. I do have a host and a domain www.icoachyouth.com. I don't think the webpage is active yet. So, at the core of what I am doing is providing youth coaches from different sports with a detailed full season program that they can run to be more successful coaches. To be successful in coaching youth you either had to be coached by a great coach or put hours upon hours of research and years of devolpment to work out the kinks and details of coaching a youth team. What I would provide is a program from start to finish that would include: all practices, gameday play call sheets, depth chart templates, offensive and defensive playbooks, sample parent talk, and I have a wealth of other idea's related to this too. I am not a web/tech guy. I am very computer literate and use them daily for work and home but by no means am an expert. I am looking for a 50/50 partner to come along side and build the website. I will be able to collect data and content. Also, someone that is sports oriented is important.
If you are still interested let me know and we can talk by phone. Then maybe we could meet up at some point to discuss further.
Thanks for they reply!

Ted Casey said… Jeff,
Thanks for your kind words. Yes, my header took some time to get right, but it really makes that sliding doors theme pop, doesn't it? It helped having a good graphics program. I plan to update the slide backgrounds with each book. Hopefully that will keep it fresh.
I look forward to getting involved in your group. I'm sure I'll learn a lot and maybe help someone along the way. I'm by no means an expert... luckily Wordpress is built with people like me in mind. For me it was a lot of trial and error with a bit of learning along the way... and then leaving it alone when it worked!
Thanks again, Ted
