My friend David and I both worked at the local Burger King during high school and college. This was in the 1990s. During our employment there, Burger King decided to try a concept called "Dinner Service". I guess they were trying to make the fast food dining experience classier.
There were special meals that could only be ordered during Dinner Service. There was popcorn to munch on while people waited for their order to be delivered to their tables.
