Profile Information
- How did you hear about 48Days.NET, and what do you hope to get out of being a part of this community?
- I have been listening to the 48 Days podcast for years. I have a small video business that I started about 8 years ago. It's been more of a hobby than a full time business, but I would like to grow it, or some iteration at least, into my main income generator. Some circumstances have just changed with my regular full time job so I now have the push I needed. I am both nervous and excited at the thought but I am confident I have come to the right place for help. Looking forward to collaborating with other budding entrepreneurs!
- What is your current work situation? Employee, self-employed, generating any income on your own?
- I have worked for the same company for over 30 year but my employment is coming to an end Dec. 31. I have a small video business that I have operated for around 8 years. It has been more of a hobby than a business.
- And then...what is your goal/dream for your work life?
- I want to become self sufficient and would love to grow my video business to replace the income of my current job. My dream is to do video as my primary income.
I have a passion for small businesses and would like to do something as a service that would help small businesses grow e.g., promo videos, websites, training,marketing, etc...
- How about your personal life? Any specific goals or achievements or dreams you are pursuing (or want to pursue)?
- I have collage age kids and want to help them get thru college. I had served at our local church for almost 15 years in various audio/video roles and would like to be able to do more of that.
Ideally we would like to travel more now that our kids are close to being on their own. We enjoy camping and going places that are warm when it is cold here.
- What would you say are your strongest talents? How are you 'wired' and what can you offer to the world (it's OK if you don't know yet, but knowing is key to pursuing your dreams!)?
- I have a passion for technology, specifically audio and video. I love to create video or use technology to communicate and impact people. I have found more fulfillment in doing this as a volunteer than I have in most paid jobs I have had over my lifetime. I love to serve and help people by using the gifts and passions I have been given.
- Do you have a website presence anywhere?

- Are you interested in finding a better job, starting a business, growing your current business, writing a book, blogging, podcasting, coaching, speaking, sales & marketing, or something else?
- Starting and growing my own business, primarily my video business. I have gained a lot of knowledge over the years of producing video so would be open to helping teach others this as well.
