- How did you hear about 48Days.NET, and what do you hope to get out of being a part of this community?
- Recently attended Coaching With Excellence. I look forward to connecting and sharing ideas with other coaches, speakers and writers.
- What is your current work situation? Employee, self-employed, generating any income on your own?
- Currently employed at a Chicago-based healthcare organization as a Lean process improvement facilitator while I build my coaching and speaking business.
- And then...what is your goal/dream for your work life?
- I plan to develop a full-time coaching, speaking and writing business that allows me to use my talent, skills and passion to help others in their life's journey.
- How about your personal life? Any specific goals or achievements or dreams you are pursuing (or want to pursue)?
- Right now, my focus is to give and share with others so that they may know the fullness of what life has to offer.
- What would you say are your strongest talents? How are you 'wired' and what can you offer to the world (it's OK if you don't know yet, but knowing is key to pursuing your dreams!)?
- People often comment on my high energy. My widely varied background and my personal journey of self-awareness have given me a unique ability to understand people.
I began my career as a newspaper reporter with a vision to impact the world with my writing. I eventually transitioned into marketing/public relations. During this time I became a fitness enthusiast and eventually went on to compete and win 3 bodybuilding championships and started a dance and fitness studio. I also founded a not-for-profit organization to benefit at-risk kids in which I offered free dance training and opportunities to perform across the country.
Most recently, I have been working as a Lean process improvement facilitator, which has ignited my passion to enter the coaching arena. I have spent the past two years facilitating group problem-solving events and coaching teams on how to clarify problems, identify solutions and set goals to measure success.
I get an immense sense of fulfillment when I am in a position to help someone else grow and transform during their life's journey.
