- How did you hear about 48Days.NET, and what do you hope to get out of being a part of this community?
- 48 days podcast
- What is your current work situation? Employee, self-employed, generating any income on your own?
- I work a 40 hour week job for the Gov, I currently run a small business doing property maintenance. I'm studying to be a home inspector and plan to launch in March after my live training class.
- And then...what is your goal/dream for your work life?
- My goal is to transition to self employment by creating a business. USE DAN'S GOALS WORKSHEET IT WORKS!
My next website will launch in March after my certification is complete.
- How about your personal life? Any specific goals or achievements or dreams you are pursuing (or want to pursue)?
- Financial independence, to living debt free, create jobs with living sustainable wages, pass a legacy to my daughter of how being self sufficient is really true security. I have a plan drafted and with the help of a SCORE.org mentor I'm carrying it in 2015.
- What would you say are your strongest talents? How are you 'wired' and what can you offer to the world (it's OK if you don't know yet, but knowing is key to pursuing your dreams!)?
- I am driven and am working to get my income level up. My strongest talent is not being the smartest but being the most persistent. My priority today is to raise my child well while pursing my dreams.

Thank you all for answering questions, providing feedback and this community has been a great resource to research information. I haven't spent as much time as I'd like to in the 48 days community. I've been taking massive action to get this home inspection business up and running. I'm at the point now that I'm out securing work.

I'm putting together a coaching 1-on-1 program for 5 people that are serious about starting their business. Do you know of some vets that could benefit from this type of coaching? There would be an "application" to help ensure their commitment to the process.
I am offering this at a substantially reduced investment to their business...but only to 5 people.
People will qualify if:
- They are struggling with what steps to take in starting a business.
- They are trying to determine if their business idea will work
- Are unsure of how to spend the funds they do have on business resources.
- Would like help in developing a business plan or value proposition
- They are willing to do the leg work and be coached using skype or phone calls.
If you feel this might be of interest to you or someone you know, let me know and I can shoot you the application to send out to them.

You can not setup templates in LinkedIn. What I do is have all my templates setup in a Word document. Then I copy and paste the appropriate wording when I send or accept invitations plus other communication that I have set up for my business.

I have found home inspection to be very rewarding. I especially enjoy spending time with home buyers explaining how to maintain their new home and explaining how any defects can be addressed appropriately. I personally consider home inspection as a ministry.
