If you feel like I do, there are just too many opportunities out there. We have ways to connect to so many people in so many places that it can get overwhelming at times. Most of us are adventurous and creative so we like to try new things, create more and then get into that state of overwhelm. For me, last year was a great year but an exhausting one. I tried new things, got overwhelmed, spent more than I could afford and then crashed. All in one year. This year I am taking things a bit more…

When it comes to goal setting, I am probably up near the top of the list of people who regularly set goals. I set them daily but don’t always achieve them all; however, I am an optimist of some sort believing I can do more than most. I will never stop being that way because I want to achieve more in life and the only way to do that, in my opinion, is to set big goals…and lots of them….and to review them and take steps toward them every day.
Earlier this week, during quiet time, I was…

I have always enjoyed math. Numbers are always easier to read to me than words which surprises me to say because I do like to write as well. But there is just something about numbers that motivates me. It is possibly the power of numbers and the fact that numbers play a part in our lives daily.
There is power in numbers in our finances. We all have heard of compounding interest. How quickly the figures multiply when we leave our money in an investment over years.
There is power…

My computer, over time, tends to slow down. It becomes sluggish and takes forever to pull up what I need. When that happens, I know it is time to clean it out. Recently, I had to set my computer back to the factory setting because it was taking so long and even getting stuck at times where I had to cut it off and…

Craig Peters said… Thanks so much Frances! I like those questions. They seem like they would really help to clarify ones direction in order to set strong goals!
Craig Peters said… Frances,
Do you think I could get a copy of those 5 questions you asked potential clients or maybe a link to where you posted them? I am in the process of getting my coaching off the ground, and they may be helpful to me in the beginning stages!
Thanks

My name is Craig Peters. I noticed back in July 2013 you stated a goal of talking to 5 people each day about your "practice coaching sessions". I was curious what exactly they consisted of? Did you find clients to coach pro bono to gain experience? and if so how did they turn out and where did you find your clients? I am in the infancy of lauching my side coaching and wanted to get any advice on getting things started! Thanks so much!

Tony Phillips said… Thank you for the warm welcome, Frances. I will definitely check out your groups.
Thanks so much, Frances, I will join shortly! I definitely need help in that arena :)
Melodie Kenniebrew said… Hi, Frances!
I took your survey. Thought it easy to complete, took me only 3 minutes. (And I’m the type who usually takes a long time considering all the available choices. :) ) It helped that your open-ended questions were extreme i.e what are the top 3 things you want to do before you die - extreme enough to help spur my thinking. Also liked that I could see from the outset how short the survey really was, so it immediately put to rest the second thoughts I typically have about completing online surveys.

Great talking with you today! I can hardly believe our lives are so parallel! Looking forward to hearing more about your connections. Hopefully we can help each other!
Thanks for the call!

Thank you, Frances. God bless.
Sorry it took me so long to respond. I have been under the weather this last
week. Thank you for your generous offer to help. As I said in my profile, I am currently developing a cyberspace platform which includes such planks as e-book, blog, radio show... I need help! Could you suggest a forum that I could plug into so that I can become acquainted with personal managers, cyberspace platform development consultants or coaches? Any further guidance, tips, or introductions you can offer would be appreciated.
God Bless.
