Ann Musico said… I noticed that you're getting started with engaging the blog community here
on 48days, and its an honor to have you! I'm a 48days adviser and blog
moderator along with my friend Rob Clinton ,
and we are very intentional with using the blogs and forums in order build
community, help us launch and expand our adventures, ask questions, and
build our personal brands.
As you get started, we want to make sure that we steer you in the right
direction with using the blogs and forums. Be sure to click here to
a href="http://www.48days.net/page/get-started>" target="_blank">http://www.48days.net/page/get-started>; watch the video Tutorials, and in
there you can watch a segment on how to make your Blogs and Forums really
count!
It's worth the watch, and as you post, you'll begin paying attention to
where you post them. For example, a simple question to help you with "Web
names a href="http://48days.net/profiles/blogs/web-names>" target="_blank">http://48days.net/profiles/blogs/web-names>; " could be brought up
under the discussion forum, where people can give you feedback on your
specific agenda. It would not necessarily get the attention it deserves
being positioned as a blog. Be mindful of posting a segment of the blog and then redirecting to your blog rather than an e-mail type message to someone.
Starting out is always a work in progress for us, and we'll get better as we
move along. But the awesome thing is we have people everywhere ready to help
you get going, and moving in the right direction. I'm here for you if you
need anything, just ask... If you still have questions about how to write
and post blogs after you watch videos, let me know and I'll help you...
These were just some quick points I wanted to run by you, and hope this
helps you get going, drive more traffic, establish community with the other
bloggers and readers.
Blessings, Ann
Joel Boggess said… Good morning Barak,
So good to hear from you.
The best way to learn how this community works is to get involved in the discussion. We have an exciting one going on right now. We are encouraging and holding each other accountable in journaling our "successes" and "safety steps". Just like life - no lurkers, only participants.
They'll be an option for you to join the group if you haven't already. You'll probably find that option at the top middle or right hand side of the page once you get there.
See you in the discussion.

Welcome Barak,
I try to take time each week to welcome new members to 48Days.Net. So, let me say "welcome" to you! I know you will find this to be a great site filled with people who are experiencing true success in both life and work.
One thing I noticed on your profile is you are hoping to be self-employed. This website is the perfect place for inspiration and encouragement to help you get started.
Also, I'd like to point out that one of the best places to connect with other liked-minded people here is in the GROUPS section. There are groups for just about every interest you can think of, and if you can't find a group that interests you, you can start one. Groups are my favorite part of 48Days.Net!
Finally, if you happen to be a speaker or author (or want to become either), check out these two groups. They are two of the most popular groups on the site because of all the great conversation taking place:
* Speak It Forward -- REAL Success and Profit for Speakers!
* Write It Forward -- REAL Success and Profit for Writers!
Again, enjoy 48Days.Net. It's a great place to be!
Live it forward,
Kent Julian
