Profile Information
- How did you hear about 48Days.NET, and what do you hope to get out of being a part of this community?
- I read 48 Days to the Work You Love while in a job that was not a good fit. I was living in Nashville then, 2005. I did all the work suggested and discovered I really should be a trainer/teacher/coach, but without a degree I didn't know how that would happen.
Then an ad appeared for instructors needed for Fred Pryor Seminars. I went to the interview, nailed it and became a Fred Pryor and Career Track instructor, taking on as many subjects as they would allow. I spent over a year with them traveling the country providing leadership training for top companies and individuals.
I was then approached by my current company, a trade association, to be their Executive Director. Because of the 48 Days process, I knew this was a great fit. My life experiences, passion, drive, determination, training and skill set would help turn this organization around. After nine years, we have seen wonderful success.
One area in particular that has been of benefit to hundreds in the public transportation sector is our education support series. I've developed a team that presents current leadership training and development programs with an engaging, caring style. Many have benefited and I am thrilled.
I am ready to step out on my own and concentrate primarily on the training and leadership development piece. I'm excited about leading others to find their place of passion, using resources and a methodology with which I have first-hand experience.
- What is your current work situation? Employee, self-employed, generating any income on your own?

- And then...what is your goal/dream for your work life?
- I want to continue helping others find what their passion is, then lead them turn that into an income generator for themselves and their families. I want to develop people to be the best that God has created them to be. And, I want to make money in the process to support the things that are important to me.
- How about your personal life? Any specific goals or achievements or dreams you are pursuing (or want to pursue)?
- I want to have time live life, instead of life living me. I want to focus on the things that are truly important and give myself permission to do this. Bible study, interaction with others, time with my husband, children and grandchildren, creating life experiences, plus time to learn about birds, gardening, and painting are all important to me. I want to leave a legacy of living well.
- What would you say are your strongest talents? How are you 'wired' and what can you offer to the world (it's OK if you don't know yet, but knowing is key to pursuing your dreams!)?
- I am fearless about speaking confidently in front of others. I love to learn, research new things, then share this information openly. I'm told I'm a velvet hammer - I can "encourage" others to do things they never imagined they could do, and even like it.
