I wrote a quick e-mail to Dan Miller the other day. I've been a follower of his for years now. Originally, I heard of him through Dave Ramsey. It recently dawned on me that I want them to be my mentors. Not in a "hey, I think what you do is great, keep up the good work" kind of way. I want to do what they do. - How did you hear about 48Days.NET, and what do you hope to get out of being a part of this community?
- I originally heard about Dan Miller through Dave Ramsey. I hope to use this community to help me filter all my ideas down to the ones that are truly worth pursuing.
- What is your current work situation? Employee, self-employed, generating any income on your own?
- Stay at Home Dad. I have a BS and MPS in Construction Management and Engineering. When I'm not changing diapers, I have countless renovation projects to do on my house. I also do small renovation projects for friends/family, but I haven't had a whole lot of time for that lately.
- And then...what is your goal/dream for your work life?
- Self Employment
- How about your personal life? Any specific goals or achievements or dreams you are pursuing (or want to pursue)?
- Just to be a good husband and father
- What would you say are your strongest talents? How are you 'wired' and what can you offer to the world (it's OK if you don't know yet, but knowing is key to pursuing your dreams!)?
- I'm probably "wired" like most other folks that are Dan Miller fans. I finished grad school in 2001. I have worked in a variety of different jobs since. I never found a good fit. I think it's because I have a hard time working for someone else when I don't agree with how they are doing things. I've always wanted to be my own boss.
