Hi Gang,
I posted a blog on some SIMPLE and EASY meditation tips...thought I would share them here as well. If you are interested in reading the whole blog, simply click HERE:
1. Still, Quiet, and Comfortable
Find a quiet place. Whether you are sitting or laying down, be sure to be comfortable. Focus on keeping your palms and heart open as this will allow the meditation to “flow” easier through your mind, body, and soul.
2. Focus Your Breathing
Begin by breathing normally in and out through your nose for about the 1st minute observing your breath without judgment. As you relax, start to deeply inhale slowly by slightly counting to four. As you breath in, focus on fully inflate your lungs and feel your ribcage expand forward and to the sides – let your breath sink past your lower rib. As you exhale, slowly count of four while pulling your navel point toward your spine. Make your in-breath and out-breath the same length. If thoughts or emotions arise, let them go and bring your attention back to your breath.
3. Be Present
Once you’re focused, take notice of your body and how each body part feels. Start with the toes and work your way up to your head. For those who have troubles with wandering minds like me, focus on your breathing for several breaths and then start to focus back on your body.
4. Practice, Patience, and Persistence!
Practice makes perfect. Taking just 5-15 minutes out each day to practice will make a huge difference in helping you to create the life you want. If you are new to meditation, be patient with yourself and remain persistent in making it a habit.
5. Guided Meditation:
Guided meditation is a great way to help you get the most out of your efforts. For me personally, without guided meditation, I find it really easy to let my mind wander into thinking about all the tasks and things I need to get done each day versus. Guided meditation is a easy way to help you stay focused and on track. To make it easy, I have worked with my friend Kingsley Grant to create one of the most phenomenal meditation downloads out there to creating the life you want. It is easy to listen to and only takes 15 minutes. I dare my listeners to listen to this awesome meditation download for 21 days and see the how this powerful tool can change your life. Just click HERE to purchase the download (seriously, for the cost of bringing a family through drive through fast food place, you can easily purchase a tool that will literally change your life…that is good return on investment for sure).
What are some of your meditation tips?
Wishing you each a awesome 2015!
