What is your current work situation? Employee, self-employed, generating any income on your own?
I am currently a full-time realtor/associate broker in a very depressed market--as you may know! I have had my license for 17 years and have always sold real estate either part or full time in between other jobs. I enjoy working with people and finding them the right home but I don't like being on call 24/7, having to drop everything to go on a showing when someone calls me, and lastly, never knowing if or when I'm going to get paid.
I have another online business where I market educational programs which include personal development and wealth creation-www.endlesstimeandmoney.com. I found this business just a year ago in a blog quite by accident and was so impressed with the products and the compensation plan that I signed right up. It has been pretty good to me but not as much as I would like. If I were better on the marketing end I know I would do much better with this as these are awesome products!
And then...what is the goal/dream you are striving for regarding your work life?
I am a total horse geek. I have loved them since I could walk and now at the ripe old age of 41 my passion has not decreased any. My goal would be to own a farm with horses where I could use them to help either handicapped kids or troubled teens. I also have a burden for pregnant teens who don't have a place to go. I would use my farm as a place where they could come and live until they deliver their baby and would use the horses as a means to teach responsibility, care, trust, and reliance.
Lastly, I love to write and have a couple ideas in mind for a couple different books but just am not sure where to begin. My ultimate goal is to have a business of my own where I can control my time, and income and serve others.
How about your personal life? Any specific goals or achievements or dreams you are pursuing (or want to pursue)?
I have two daughter's in college and my personal goal is to graduate them debt free. We didn't plan for college so we are on the pay-as-you-go plan--which I wouldn't recommend! Our oldest is a junior, and yes, she is debt free! Our youngest is freshman in college this year and hopefully she will also be debt free at the end of next semester.
I want to have my own business in the next 6 months and be debt free, and time free.
I have been married 21 years to an incredible guy. He is also a full-time realtor. We work together.
My specific goals/dreams I mentioned above--to own a horse farm and write a couple books. Oh, and it would be REALLY nice to make some money with these endeavors too!!
What would you say are your core competencies? How are you 'wired' and what can you offer to the world (it's OK if you don't know yet, but knowing is key to pursuing your dreams!)?
My core competencies are in relating with people. I can be a good listener, encourager, comfortor when needed, but I can also be assertive. I am a black and white person. I don't sugar coat anything. I'm sorry if I may offend but I always believe that even if the truth is difficult to hear, it is always the best! That goes for me as well!

If you have a product or service to promote (now or in the near future) this is your shot to state it! Say all you'd like:
If you have a business or product that you would like to promote this is an incredible tool! I discovered this marketing tool about 2 months ago. It applies to everyone and everything no matter what your business or interest, and it can reach thousands of people in a matter of a couple hours. This system does all the work for you. You just set it up, which takes about 15 minutes (I did it and I am not a computer/marketing person at all), tell it what you want it to do and you're on your way. To get all the details just visit my site at www.primeleads.ibuzzpro.com. Tell me what you think!

Hi Doug,

Thanks for the info. I've already spoken with Joanne, but didn't know about Kathy. I'll definitely talk with her. Thanks for the welcome!

Hi Faye--I'm just a Day Old here myself! Seems to be a great site with lot's of valuable contacts, blogs and information. I LOVE horses myself. Bought my first one for my 29th birthday--my obsession only get's WORSE the more I'm around them!

I love your site and value your goals to have a place for girls to go...that's my overall goal for my training program. I'd like to have hippotherapy, psychotherapy and community/corporate training programs. Hopefully my training will allow me to afford a great facility so that I can have "one of every type of horse" but instead of buying, I'll just love and take care of everyone else's "cast-offs." EVENTUALLY--I'd like to be a steward for the BLM and care for Mustangs that can't be re-homed.

Too bad you're in the land of BRRRrrrrrr-we can still collaborate resources!
Thanks again for your note and hope to hear from you soon!
