If you will take less than your fixed price it definitely will not hurt. If people feel like they are getting a deal they're more likely to buy. In some cases it's worked well for me and I've sold goods with the Best…"
"It's a good course. I got it free as part of something else I was doing with Jim at the time. It is worth the money? For me I'd say yes because it covers a lot of material in a step-by-step type format. Unless…"
Thanks for sharing that info. I used that tool once but it only gave me the current Amazon info and I didn't see a history. I'll have to try it again. One question, did you just go to the site on your smartphone or…"
"Thanks for posting these Raun! I haven't watched yet but will.
Is anyone on here doing retail arbitrage and making money with it? I did some late last year and did make a little money but I never had the success Chris and some…"
I apologize for not getting back to you sooner. In my opinion I'd try to learn Amazon first. Once you are using FBA you can list those same items in other places including eBay and if the item sells Amazon will ship it to…"
If you are just starting out take a look at Amazon. I have been selling off and on on eBay since 2002 and late last year I found Jim Cockrum's Proven Amazon Course. After taking the course a light bulb went off for me and…"
How did you hear about 48Days.NET, and what do you hope to get out of being a part of this community?
I heard about the community while listening to Dave Ramsey.
What is your current work situation? Employee, self-employed, generating any income on your own?
And then...what is your goal/dream for your work life?
To setup multiple streams of income in areas that are interesting and fulfilling for me using the Internet the Internet where applicable. These streams of income will require some work up front but will run on "auto-pilot" when implemented so my time is free to spend with my family and pursuing other interests.
How about your personal life? Any specific goals or achievements or dreams you are pursuing (or want to pursue)?
To be debt-free.
What would you say are your strongest talents? How are you 'wired' and what can you offer to the world (it's OK if you don't know yet, but knowing is key to pursuing your dreams!)?
I am self motivated and have been in the IT field for approximately 15 years. I am very good software and the Internet. I enjoy working with people and seeing them reach their potential.
Craig, it was great to see you in Nashville at the 48 Days Facilitator Certification. We had some lively discussions and I’m excited to see everyone get their classes up and running. I'm looking forward to talking with you next week.
To be honest, I just joined the the paid member's site on Feb 22. It was a little over my head at first because I know only email marketing, autoresponders, and shopping carts.
I don't know web design nor seo - the seo stuff is turning out to be something that I do need to learn about because no one in my small town is doing it!
However, they then have the impression that "internet marketing" doesn't work because they paid a bunch of money for their site and no one is even visiting it.
But the real truth is that no one can even find their sites.........
They kind of aim at providing all parts of a solution for a business - even if you outsource something you are not an expert at (like web design for me)
For instance, the pizza guy - his priority was not email marketing - he wants a new website and then he wants online ordering. He MIGHT do email marketing, but not until the other 2 things are done, so I am on the back burner for him, where if i had sources for web design and online ordering, i probably could have got the job.
You are much more ahead than me if you have built some sites for people - may i ask if you put in a "sign up" box for newsletter and autoresponders to keep yourself being there go to person?
I just checked and the ebook that you get when you join says that "you may give this away or sell it as long as the links remain in unaltered state" - so, if you want to give me your personal email, i will send it to you - it will give you more insight into what the board is dicussing.
May I ask how you determine what business you approach - for instance, they suggest simply talking to any business owner that you actually know and asking "how's your website" - "is it generating sales" - "are you happy with it"
This is pretty much for business owners that you know or restaurants that you frequent that the owner probably recognizes you.
For business owners that you don't know or frequent, they do have a simple system to generate leads, rather than a cold call and walking in and asking all about their site.
Craig: the board is simply very, very specific, whereas I would say 48days.net is much "broader".
this board is essentially if you want to walk in an existing brick and mortar business (which is why car dealerships came up) and sell your internet marketing services - whether that's website building, email marketing, autoresponders, SEO optimization, shopping carts.
Do you feel this fits you? If you can elaborate a little more on what exactly you are trying to do and who you are targeting, I can try to fill in the blanks a little more.
I am a member. You can try out the discussion board for free and ask questions though. If you have a specific interest in cars and ebay, you could simply ask on the free discussion board for the resource and I would think someone could direct you - I think that's where I read about it at.
I think if you would read some of the discussion board, you might tell if its a fit or if its feasible for something you would like to do.
