Profile Information
- How did you hear about 48Days.NET, and what do you hope to get out of being a part of this community?
- I heard about this community through Dan's Podcast. I hope to learn, share ideas, encourage and be inspired!
- What is your current work situation? Employee, self-employed, generating any income on your own?
- I work mostly from home. I started my own business in 2009 called New Hope Youth Ranch. I truly feel I'm doing my "dream job" and operating exactly where God wants me to be! I love the work and the teens I meet. I do get payed for this (have contracts with schools, addiction groups etc), although it doesn't equal a full-time salary yet. I work part time at a local group home as well with teen girls. Income for the Ranch is mostly generated May to October due to cold weather.
- And then...what is the goal/dream you are striving for regarding your work life?
- 1. Make enough so that both my husband and I can work from home
2. Develop more streams of income so that winters aren't hard financially
3. Write an ebook or book (with some of the teens here perhaps)
- How about your personal life? Any specific goals or achievements or dreams you are pursuing (or want to pursue)?
- 1. My husband and I want to start a family -- lots of kids! (That's a personal goal right?) :)
2. Becoming debt free.
- What would you say are your core competencies? How are you 'wired' and what can you offer to the world (it's OK if you don't know yet, but knowing is key to pursuing your dreams!)?
- I am gifted as a leader and great with the children / teens that come through the Ranch. I am organized, good event planner and and enjoy public speaking.

Thanks for checking out my website - I love the Nose-It! I feed everyone here with them: horses, dogs, Nigerian Dwarf goats and even the geese seem to love the Nose-It!s Due to the economy, I haven't been able to run the the training programs that I LOVE to facilitate. Mabye once the Nose-It!s get better rooted, then I'll be able quite my fulltime job and change to Nose-It!s and Equine Assited Learning and therapy :) My dream job is going out every day and sharing my babies and passion to help others be happier and better in their own life. Dreams DO come true -- So I'm just going to have to wait a bit longer for this one.
Thanks for the comments -- and sharing the video. By the way -- you did a great job. I would use this to show student's how to make a good presentation. You introduced yourself, explained what you were going to do and why, showed us and then recapped. TEXT BOOK PERFECT! You need your own show next!

There are groups for just about every interest you can think of, and if you can't find a group that interests you, you can start one. Groups are my favorite part of 48Days.Net!
