How did you hear about 48Days.NET, and what do you hope to get out of being a part of this community?
Through Dave Ramsey's website and radio show.
What is your current work situation? Employee, self-employed, generating any income on your own?
Federal government employee ...
And then...what is the goal/dream you are striving for regarding your work life?
...with a yearning to generate a business in which I can create:
• fulfilling multimedia projects
• extra income
• post-employment income
• a sterling reputation of right living
• a loyal clientele for multimedia training and development
How about your personal life? Any specific goals or achievements or dreams you are pursuing (or want to pursue)?
Grow stronger in my walk with God
Living abundantly in His sufficiency
Develop a strong skills training and placement ministry
Giving abundantly in His will
What would you say are your core competencies? How are you 'wired' and what can you offer to the world (it's OK if you don't know yet, but knowing is key to pursuing your dreams!)?
I love to teach, train, and explain as well as match people with bits of information or insights I have gathered. I have always been a natural at putting together information in easy to access formats and leading people from what they know to what they want to know. My software skillsets are specialized in the development of computer-based training and measurement, aka online courseware, learning CDs, etc. Strong instructional design skills. Also, according to a Strengthfinder assessment, my five top strengths are:
• Strategic
• Adaptability
• Self-Assurance
• Maximizer
• Responsibility

My website (below) normally has my "project in-process" displayed. I just finished up working with a filmmaker in promoting the release of his new movie this fall (and God's fingerprints are all over me getting that gig). My portion of that website (the sponsorship promotion) is in the second website below. Not my site, but I built it. (It has been replaced in June with another phase of the promotion, it had a good run, though).

The project now displayed on the presenting-you site is a conversion I did for my church http://www.allnationssa.org. It is a new member's orientation to how the church and the members work together to fulfill our comission.
I invite any feedback on either of the projects.
Do you have a website presence anywhere?
http://www.presenting-you.com
If you have a product or service to promote (now or in the near future) this is your shot to state it! Say all you'd like:
I like to develop distance learning products--no, wait! I excel at developing distance learning products and enjoy nearly every minute of it. I would love to find some talented subject matter experts who are willing to take the time and effort to collaborate on some training projects. These could be skills training, craft training, nearly anything as long as there is a passion and a love for the subject matter that can be imparted to others. I have a professional set of tools and skills that I want to flex outside the structure of the federal government. I wanna have some fun and touch some people with good quality instruction on subjects they want to know about. Anyone with a desire to put your expertise into a dynamic interactive format complete with graphics and video; feel free to ask me about how we could partner up for mutual benefit. I just got my website up and running as a place to showcase my portfolio or work. I still have to figure out how to show more than one piece at a time 8^) Gimme just a little more time...

Hi Jack,

Just recently jumped into this group and look forward to making new friends. Have you been on this network long?

I am originally from San Antonio and my wife and I now live in Colleyville which is in the DFW area.

Are you also a 212 member?

Be sure and stop by our coaching circle. Our last tele-conference audio is posted in the "blog" section and you can check it out. We do conference calls bi-monthly.

All I can say is "WAY TO GO JACK!"

Dude, the way we learn is by doing something, then adjusting...not trying to be perfect the first time out. I now charge $1,297 for individual career coaching and work with several clients a month (4 years ago I charged $397 and had only a handful of clients a year). But please know, I'm still adjusting how I do things. In fact, just yesterday I updated one of my main tools b/c of the insights I learned this year.

So again, WAY TO GO JACK. You're doing something! I think you'll be pleasantly surprised where you go in the next 12-24 months.

FYI, check out this article I wrote.

Live it forward,
Kent Julian

Jack,
Yes you can. But I'm doing a few updates that should be done by the end of this week. I will want you to use that version. Okay? I'll send it to you. And if you don't have it by this weekend, please email me and remind me.
