It May Seem ...

That I've fallen of the edge of the earth, after just joining.

That's fair.

What has happened is that I finished a book (Me, Myself, and Bob, by Phil Vischer), and it caused me to drop into a time of soul-searching.

God and I have come to a decision: He's the Boss.

Unfortunately, I don't hear Him too well, so it has been some work to find out what His will for me, personally, is. (I know, bad grammer. Life is.)

You will be seeing more of me.

Profile Information

What is your current work situation? Employee, self-employed, generating any income on your own?
Employee, looking for supplemental/replacement income.
And then...what is the goal/dream you are striving for regarding your work life?
To be able avoid the regular work-a-day, to do something I truly love, and be able to share more (personally, financially)
How about your personal life? Any specific goals or achievements or dreams you are pursuing (or want to pursue)?
Kind of wrapped up with the employment goals/dreams.
What would you say are your core competencies? How are you 'wired' and what can you offer to the world (it's OK if you don't know yet, but knowing is key to pursuing your dreams!)?
Not a sales person. This is a place to state things in a positive fashion, but I am so out of touch with my competencies that I can only state what I'm not good at. Sales is a treadmill that I want to get away from. Perhaps teaching.
Do you have a website presence anywhere?

If you have a product or service to promote (now or in the near future) this is your shot to state it! Say all you'd like:
I currently have an ebook (link posted ot the blog) that I wrote with an eye towards encouraging me. Maybe it will encourage you. It'couldn't hurt.

I still don't know what to do, which way to go, or even what direction to head, even if it's wrong.

This gives you an idea of my 'current' mind. Is it 'like' enough to your own? For your sake, I hope not.

Hi Dana,

I am looking to connect with like minded people here in Colorado.

I like your blog. Have you thought about having your own website?

By all means, go ahead and make use of it. And go ahead and use my name.
(That's why I'm sometimes called "The Madman")

Hi Dana, I love your blogsite. You are a good writer! Maybe get your ideas to "Chicken Soup for the Soul" and other books that combine multiple authors. Have you thought about magazines and Readers Digest? There are still publishers out there that read those types of sites to find fresh authors!

Thanks, Kent,
I took the photo about a year-and-a-half ago at a sculpture park the next town over from us. My kids had aol screen names/email of hausape1 & hausape2 & I eventually became known as Mr. Ape, or hausapepapa.
The resemblance is startling. ;)
Have a great day!

Have you ever read a book that you were enjoying, really getting into, learning lots from?

WHAM!

A cosmic truth comes flying in like a frisbee at a picnic, just as you were taking that second bite of potato salad?

That's what happened to me.
