Writing for publications and Guest posting
Jen suggested I share this here too. This is what I posted on the main discussion board.

Just wanted to see who was looking to write for some larger publications and/or guest posting to do a bit of a media blitz and get some momentum for your brand. If you are interested in guest posting or getting on larger publications please let me know here and put your email. Also tell me about what you are doing in your business. (****hint hint**** This is another good place to market yourself!)

That's fantastic Kent! And can I tell you I'm really enjoying the podcast. I'm glad to see you made the jump. We had talked about it a couple years ago, but you were too busy!
With these places, do you have a specific editor you submit to? or do you do a general submission?

Allan...a good rule of thumb for any submission, whether it's for speaking or writing, is to build a relationship with people and submit directly with them. That's what I would suggestion. Then, if they say submit via "general submission," go that route.

What @Ken said for sure. Tell people you meet at networking events you want to speak and soon you'll be flooded with editors contact information and last minute invitations - planes get delayed and people get sick. Be ready with your talk and you'll be speaking in no time. Good luck
