Following a long hiatus, I'm finally getting back into developing a podcast series for my business. Unfortunately, I am having two issues that are keeping me from taking flight.
Hopefully, that helps give some guidance to what I am facing right now. I had my setup working fine during the fall, but then I faced some tough schedules at work and had to shelve my podcasting for a while. I'm finally in my own business right now and want to get my podcasts going as quickly as I possibly can. Once I have this setup ready to go, I'll be able to start producing more shows (including an interview with Cliff that will be a two-part episode in the coming weeks!)
Thanks,
Dallon

Sounds like you simply have one of the SOLO buttons depressed on one of your channels. Should be right above your volume knob for each channel.
Hope this helps.

My guess is that it is on one of the channels 2-10 since you cannot hear anything. If you hear computer sounds and no mic then it is down on 11/12 and if you hear yourself but no computer then it is down on 1.
A really easy fix. Hope this helps.

P.S. Thanks for the pics.

The solo buttons are more used for live sound. For example, if I am mixing a band, I would use the solo to help set levels and determine if any extraneous noise is coming from an instrument or through the PA. Its only useful in podcasting if you have multiple inputs and you want to isolate and EQ each input individually.

I have a teleconference today, so I'll test out my sound levels on that call. Cliff, hope you're enjoying NYC! I'll have to go next year, as my younger brother lives in Battery Park, near the World Trade Center site.

I just came across this post because I was having the same issue. So many years later! Thank you.
