After you finish writing your next great post, give yourself a well deserved pat on the back, but don’t relax just yet. Although it is a wonderful piece of writing, only a few people will see it without your help. If you want to make sure it gets the proper attention from potential subscribers, you’ve got to take the neccesary steps to get it out there. Here are just a few tips to get you started.

1. Social Media Before you start sharing the link to your latest great post you need to create a shortened url, that way you can track the amount of clicks to that link. Go to http://www.bit.ly and paste in your url . This will create a shorthand link that you will use whenever you share. This is great because of the character limits of status updates on Twitter and Facebook.  Now it’s time to tweet your post and be sure to post the new article on your Facebook page.

2. Ping

Now you’ll  want to let the search engines know about your new post. Just visit  www.pingomatic.com.  Fill out the form, click Ping.  They will take care of the rest.

3. Comment On Other Blog Sites

Do a search of your post’s topic to find a few blogs to place comments on.  If you show yourself to be well informed on the topic, there is a good chance visitors of that blog will  want to take a look at your blog.

4. Submit Articles

Submit articles to directories, you can rewrite your articles yourself or use an article spinner. This helps create additional backlinks to your site that can be a source of traffic. If you post the same article word for word, it could be considered duplicate content and Google will discount it.

I hope the information contained  in “You’ve Written A Great Post, Now What?” will help you along your journey to online profit and success. I have realized that the only way for me to succeed is to help others get what they’re looking for. That is the most important key to making money online.

Thank you for your post. Just a few weeks ago I was getting tired-tired of doing the same thing looking for different results. Right then I got invited to a couple restaurant openings and got introduced to a local newspaper. That gave me the fuel to keep going. I love staying hungry for more.
