Too old for new?

Jim Henry, a retired lobsterman from Mystic, Connecticut, recently published a story of his life—In a Fisherman’s Language. That might seem like a common occurrence. After all, writing personal memoirs isn’t unusual. However, there’s more to Mr. Henry’s story. He was illiterate until his mid-90s and wrote his book at 98. His advice is simple, “Never, never give up on anything, even if what you are doing feels impossible.” The first two printings of his book sold out. Many people—especially older adults—give up on doing something incredible because they aren’t sure they can do it.
