I was sitting in my automobile university listening to a CD and heard legendary business philosopher Jim Rohn remind me of something that was as true in his day, as it is today - to attract people, you've got to be attractive to people... And self improvement is the key.
It reminded me of a story I tell to clients about the "roots and the fruits" and how if you are determined to cultivate, grow, and harvest fuller, richer fruit in your life, you've got to develop a stronger root system - ala self improvement.
Just today, an audience member asked me, "What do you feed the root?" A very legitimate question no doubt.
Hopefully he caught the message in the answer I gave - "It depends on the kind of fruit you want to produce."
Today's reflection - What kind of fruit are you looking to produce in your professional and personal life? Ex. A boost to your bottom line; a stronger relationship; a healthier body; a deeper connection with God.

This is a great point. I'm really looking to produce the fruit of service right now. I'm striving to serve others without any expectation of reciprocation. Jim Rohn was an amazing person - so glad we can still benefit from his teaching. Thanks for sharing.
My Best,
Adam Rico
