“What we do on some great occasion will probably depend on what we already are; and what we are will be the result of previous years of self-discipline” - H.P Liddon

As an entrepreneur, it’s so easy to fall into a day-to-day routine and neglect to do anything for yourself. Have you read any books, attended any seminars, or even watched CNBC lately? You will receive huge dividends by making personal growth a daily goal and habit.

People sometimes assume that the life of an entrepreneur is consumed with making the next deal. How wrong they are. This morning I began with a long walk through the country. Then I came back, had a muffin and morning tea with Joanne and played one round of Quiddler. Then I walked back to my office and wrote my weekly newsletter. Now I'm rewarding myself with a trip in to Home Depot to get supplies for a project I'm working on. When I come back I plan to spend a couple of hours mowing grass and trimming. Self-discipline -- Yes. Loss of personal time -- No.
