Do You Love it there And Are You Still Here?
Part of my weekend in Jekyll Island was spent reading, thinking, and soaking in life. I remember sitting on a balcony in a golden moment of perfection. It was early morning; I had my usual coffee, a devotional book in front of me, a notepad, and the sound waves crashing nearby.

Broke- “destroy; make whole into pieces”
Poor- “a hapless victim, deserving or inciting pity, fortune-less, poverty”
The main difference is mindset, ala Dave Ramsey:
“Broke, you are passing through. Poor is a mindset.”
With being broke, you know you are passing through this time in your life. You are battling. Sure , you get down or even downright depressed. I’ve been…

Since we were kids, we always had to ask for permission.
Can I have chocolate milk? No!
Can I play with my friends? You are too young!
Can I have a sleepover? Not yet!
While these could fall into the category of good parenting with certain age groups, we seem to bring these thought processes into our adult life.
The problem comes when we are waiting on someone else to take the lead because no one has…
