What the Sluggard is Missing Out On
For me, excuses pop up quickly when I don't have a system that's conducive to my energy and overall growth. Something that gives me a real reason to do it!
There are important things that need to be done, such as paying bills, and organizing paperwork, which just takes too much time and gets me off focus. Without a purpose, I don't like doing them, and will always come up with excuses not too.
However, it all changed when I converted all of this to…

Show 039 Finding your Voice - "I still got a lot to give."
As he watched his father develop chronic back problems as he aged not so gracefully in his long-time factory job, he made a promise to himself that he would never take a position like the one he saw his dad grow to despise. (Jump to the full article and podcast.)
Nevertheless, as an acorn never falls far…

My Playground
Great day ahead of me at a coaching seminar intensive with my speaking coach Kent Julian and the rest of our mastermind crew. This is exciting stuff as we’re gathered in one room to put help support each other and bring each of our visions to life.
Just a couple weeks ago, I was at Dan Miller’s Write to the Bank event in Tennessee. That was another positive and fulfilling step towards the development…

Past is Gravity
Who wouldn’t want to grow in their favorite roles in life? Are you truly happy just sitting idle? Are you truly happy with letting the world move forward and you stay right where you are? What if I told you that our past has a gravitational pull? It seeks to pull us back, or as though it were a universal law to naturally draw us back even further in time away from the possibilities of advancement.
Ladies and gentleman, what I’m introducing you to here is the sole resistance…

Work Harder To NOT Work
When I was in the corporate world we had the hard workers, and the not-so-hard workers. Of course, for the most part you could tell who enjoyed their work, and who did not by the effort and heart they put into it. There was a lot of complaining. Whether you worked hard or not, there was always something wrong with how someone else was…

I’m Not The Sharpest Tool… You Think?
Well, I may have never really been the sharpest tool in the shed according to any “norm” survey, but I realized a wonderful gift that God gave me. I’ve always had it, but never realized it until I unveiled a fundamental truth about myself in the deepest identity struggles of my life.…

What are You Protecting???
What is your world to you? Does it consist of growing up in a family home, going to church every Sunday, going to school, getting good grades, listening to instructions and following rules, get to college, graduate, get married, get a job, get in debt, have children, teach those children to do the same things you did, retire at 65 (we hope) with tons of debt, and with children who have great…

Losing Everything
What meaning is there to life, if we were to only be allowed to dream but not act on our dreams? Dreams are essential to the growth of our world. If there were no dreams, there would be no one to act on those dreams and create the magnificent structures, nations, monuments, sciences, and technologies of today.…

Society is Wrong?
There is a spirit within all of us that desires to express itself, be free of judgment, and conformity. It is the creative spirit that always seeks the higher plane and level of life. Hopes and dreams are the seeds from which an infinity of forests grow. -jb
Einstein said that imagination is more powerful than knowledge.
To take a peek at your true potential, give yourself the gift of solitude. Take a few minutes each day, (it might be 5 minutes, it might be 30, we all have different schedules), and activate the creativity
that is waiting to be used. Allow your thoughts to wander in the
direction God leads them.
The thoughts that enter your…

These ARE Necessary Problems
Problems as you may know are everywhere. People dream of the grass being greener on the other side, which is usually true, but that doesn’t mean it’s without problems. All you are usually doing is trading your problems for another set (or type) of problems.
If…
