Here I am sitting at my desk in my new home office looking out to the west as the sun begins to make it's way down. I see a beautiful fishing pond, a tree filled lot, beautiful homes, an amazing neighborhood and I have a great sense of peace deep within and I know that I am a success. This view out my office window has simply served to remind me of God's blessings and goodness and that is a huge part of my success. I mentioned that this is a NEW office because in my old office my desk was…Continue

So many of us feel inadequate and it paralyzes us from being who we were made to be. We think things like, "I'm just not intelligent enough to be successful or I wasn't born with natural ability." Nick Vujicic gives us some perspective on what it means to make the most of the life we are given.
Recently I was faced with a situation in my own life wherein my gut reaction was to immediately go negative. We all have them don’t we? It may be something as simple as someone cutting us off in traffic. It may be something as serious as getting fired at a job. So what are some…Continue

I don’t know if you’ve noticed this yourself, but a funny but disquieting thing is happening with me since I completed something of significance. I find my attitude has changed.
A mission of attitudinal proportions.…Continue
One of the unexpected things for me with jumping into entrepreneurship has been the need for a healthy mindset and attitude. To be honest, I never gave my mindset and attitude much thought until a few years ago. I always saw this part of personal growth as superfluous and only for those who were a little far out there.Continue
Remember before bluetooth technology when you used to see someone sitting at a stoplight and there was no doubt they were talking to themselves? If you’re like me, you found it humorous and couldn’t help but wonder what conversation was going on. Even funnier is when they were very…Continue

So how do you start on the path to getting more of what you want?
First, dream more.
I don’t know about you, but I never thought of myself as a “dreamer”. My idea of a dreamer was this…Continue
Shouldn’t experience count more than anything else? Some think so. I don’t.
I’m sure you know someone who is very experienced, but just keeps waiting for that next opportunity that never seems to come. How about when you’ve had to interact with someone who was clearly experienced but a real drag to deal with? These are two examples that prove that experience isn’t the most important thing.
Yes, experience is a big factor as it should be. However, the reality is that much…Continue

Can fear of success really inhibit us from moving forward? It can, and here are a few reasons why.
Some people remember the exact moment in time when man first stepped foot on the moon, or news reached them that US President John F. Kennedy was assassinated.
There are a few moments in…Continue

I'm sure for God, it must be painful to hear us pray for something that was delivered last month but we do not yet see it.
During an "on the street" radio interview last week, a reporter discussed with a couple about their woes following Hurricane Sandy. The couple were understandably upset about…Continue
The things that you yourself used to do and then stopped in your growing wisdom now begin to annoy you when you notice them in others. Of course, you are not so much annoyed with them as you are with the old you who did the same darn thing. ~ Farnoosh BrockContinue
If once you forfeit the confidence of your fellow-citizens, you can never regain their respect and esteem.
Too many chiefs, and not enough indians, as my beautiful wife is known to say. Everyone wants, expects, and demands respect, but do they…Continue

Dealing with change. You don’t like it. I don’t like it. Nobody really likes it.
It’s a hassle. It takes you out of your comfort zone. You probably say to yourself, ”I just figured this out, now I have to change again?” Or how about “But this is the way it has always been.”
Some of us don’t resist change, we just resist being changed. After all, why would I care if you change as long it’s not affecting me? Go ahead, change all you want!
Sound familiar? I…Continue
