I went to visit my Chiropractor today. We traded for some services so occasionally we discuss business. I brought up his tweet strategy and asked if he had any idea if what he has been doing on Twitter is helping out. Answer – “Not Really.”
Hmmm. I say “Let’s examine this and see if we can develop a strategy that will allow you to measure your success and hopefully build your practice.” So after some discussion here is the strategy and requirements we came up with. These requirements are… Continue

What is going on in my head? I'm kind of using this blog time to just get some things out of my noggin! :o\
I'm not exactly sure what has been going with me the last week to 2 weeks. But, man am I just feelin run down and lost. I put in my notice at work because of how much I hated it and even what it was doing to me physically, mentally and emotionally as I would approached my place of work. I felt like I was getting some where with finding my passions and gifts in what God has… Continue
If you haven’t found yourself utter the phrase “I wish I had more hours in the day” before, I bet you’ve at least heard someone else say it. If you had more time, I bet you could clean the garage and the bathroom, launch the business you’ve been dreaming about, and maybe, if there’s a small amount of time left in the evening, find a solution for world hunger.
I’d like to be bold and propose an easy solution.
If you spend 3 hours per day watching TV (the average American… Continue

Was wondering....
Is accepting a paycheck for time a form of laziness?
Does it mean that I just don’t want to pick up the fishing pole and go out and catch some fish for supper….(translation – Go out a find customers for my product, service)
Need to change our thinking….Need to get that hunter mentality.
Really, all we have to do is, DO IT!! Plan and Go.
Everyday take a step forward whether it's reading material or contacting a vendor.
If you can… Continue
Ok this post may make a few of you mad at me. So sue me.
I have some friends who talk about God's timing. I totally believe in God's timing for things. I also believe that He created us with Free Will and that he WANTS us to use it. Here is my theology/philosophy on God's timing. One sentence, are you ready?
Pray to catch the bus. And run like crazy.
So, often I see people sitting back and doing nothing waiting for God to drop something in their lap (not that… Continue
Today, we launched the NEW IOU NO MORE. We took the book content, expanded the form set, made them reproducible, added some great hyperlinks and turned it into an ebook. We are very excited about it, because we can get more information into the hands of those who need budget and debt help at a much lower cost to them. You can read more at Recession Proof Living

Last week I wrote a post about Why do I have to Wear braces? Apparently the questining in school has not stoped. Yesterday Haley told her therapist at school that one of the kids told Haley she walked weird. She told another therapist that she and Mommy decided she didn't have to wear braces on days Haley doesn't have Gym and therapy. When she and I talked last night she told me about the girl and I asked what Haley said back to the girl. Haley… Continue
Last night I walk in the door with two pizzas for Daniel’s b-day dinner. That’ll be more than enough for growing teenagers, I had reasoned. The plans were, we eat at 6, the friends come at 6:30 for cake and ice cream.
Daniel flashed me his grin and informed me that the neighbors would be over any minute now. Sometime between 5 and 6.
There is a state park that my family and I always enjoyed camping at along the Gulf Coast. Each morning after a late breakfast, we would go to the beach for a few hours, and then come back to our campsite. But one day as we pulled up to our camper, we noticed that we had a visitor - an alligator! He was sunning himself in an open area right on our site. We called the game warden who quickly came and captured him. It was a small gator, so the game warden was able to catch him in a net and flip… Continue
As I sit here contemplating the next step in my own business development, I find myself thinking of a discussion I had with a friend last week. He, himself beginning his business journey, and I were discussing what makes one happy. There are many cliches, but maybe there are some truths behind that. "Be true to yourself" is one, but for many, how do you find out what being true to yourself is?
Finding what you are made to do when you have been told by so many folks from family and… Continue

How do you define success? If you don't have a clear definition of success, how do you hope to achieve it? This question came up at a business luncheon I attended yesterday and again last night reading a new book with my wife Laura - "In a Pit With a Lion On a Snowy Day" by Mark Batterson.
At the luncheon, a definition of success provided states "Success is NOT comparing yourself to other people. Success is comparing yourself to what you are called to do." Batterson's definition is… Continue
Please Note> I swiped this email’s subject line from the cover of a National Enquirer magazine.
How does this risqué checkout stand tabloid pertain to you growing a successful home-based business?
You’ll have to keep reading to find out! :-)

I hear a lot about failure and struggles, and whether or not we should really be so discouraged when things don’t always appear to go our way. Well from my experience, I realize that it’s very easy to say such a thing, but when the going gets tough, it’s also very easy to lose hope, and to lose sight of what it is we truly desire.
One way to help you get through the difficult times is to realize that it’s all a process. Everything you do, and everything God sends your way is a… Continue

It is raining hard outside and the drops of rain kissing the pavement calms me. Suddenly, I find peace at the sight of the water running down from the higher part of the pavement. The water is calm because there is no attempt of resistance. Just like the hot dampness encircling my eyelids.
It was a year ago when my will to continue life collapsed. I never thought of ending my life, but I never planned for its progress either. I was… Continue
