Last Thursday and Friday, I attended the Coaching with Excellence seminar at the Sanctuary with the Miller family and 50 new coaches in training. WOW! Dan, Joann, Ashley and Nathan all had great stuff to share and on top of that, I got to meet some seriuosly neat people from all over the country attending the seminar. - Considering starting in coaching. Have been unemployed for 90 days.

- Finding what I love to do for work.

I have a new blog on Facebook with the above title. I was wondering how to get folk to start reading. I'm a little new to this IT stuff and could use some advise, like how to send my posts from my blogs in FB to 48days.net. I have been meeting, reading about or discovering so many interesting people for years and always said that there were people whose stories should truly be told. After three years of interviewing countless individuals, I selected several whose stories I share.
The book is about ordinary individuals whose lives were "hijacked" so to speak by a defining moment and what they did as a result.
The stories are inspirational but also motivational; a testimony that we can change our entire life story by the way we respond to circumstances. i have nothing but humble respect for the individuals who shared their personal stories. You can find out more at

Welcome to the community. You'll find this to be a pretty good place to make new friends and exchange ideas.
One of the benefits that make this community hum has to do with the rich diversity of interest groups from which to choose.
If you're looking for calling and purpose in your work and life, two or three groups come to mind. I am involved in a few but below are some great ones to start with: You can find direct links to the groups below on the left hand side of the 48 Days home page, along with many others to choose from.
“The Winners Circle” is my friend Joel Boggess’ ever growing and very informative group. Joel, just as I am, is also one who you can turn to if you have questions about our community.
“180 Career Coaching” Rob Clinton is also my good friend with a very active and amazing group.
“Clearing the Hurdle” is authored by Derek Sisterhen. He also has a great show called Past Due Radio where he addresses how to take control of one’s finances and live a “I’m DEBT FREE” life!.
As you can see, we have a wide variety of topics to choose from. I love it here and you will too.
