Profile Information
- How did you hear about 48Days.NET, and what do you hope to get out of being a part of this community?
- I heard about the community on the Dave Ramsey show. I am hoping to get the continual support and encouragement as I start down a brand new-to-me career path. After years of being in a job with little to do but a decent paycheck, I decided to follow my passion and was able to secure a job where I will be using my skills, building new ones, and I already feel alive again, even though I haven't started yet!
- What is your current work situation? Employee, self-employed, generating any income on your own?
- I feel more comfortable as an employee. My new job will involve a commission/bonus component that is exciting. If I want more money, I bring in more business. No caps. It's all on me, and I welcome that responsibility.
- And then...what is your goal/dream for your work life?
- My new position has a marketing component, and I look forward to learning the ropes of full-cycle marketing campaigns.
- How about your personal life? Any specific goals or achievements or dreams you are pursuing (or want to pursue)?
- My goal is to continue to honor my grandmother's memory by learning the lost arts, those that got her and her family through the Depression: canning, gardening, and my next project, creating a rag rug.
- What would you say are your strongest talents? How are you 'wired' and what can you offer to the world (it's OK if you don't know yet, but knowing is key to pursuing your dreams!)?
- I can read between the lines and propose solutions that address the underlying concerns.
I am a consummate rule follower which makes me ideal at writing grants and working through government requirements.
I am a teacher at heart and want to help others help themselves.

- If you are looking to have a prototype or short production run made that involves machining, CAD/CAM, etc., let me price that out for you. All work is done in the US by veterans.
