Profile Information

How did you hear about 48Days.NET, and what do you hope to get out of being a part of this community?
I heard of 48days by listening to a AskDave recording. I hope to get the confidence and information I need to become succcesful in the career/ work part of my life.
What is your current work situation? Employee, self-employed, generating any income on your own?
I am a fast food employee. I work fulltime and and proud of the work I do.
And then...what is your goal/dream for your work life?
I am currently looking to what I want to do in the future. I love my job but would like to be doing something less physical in the years to come.
How about your personal life? Any specific goals or achievements or dreams you are pursuing (or want to pursue)?
I want to own a home large enough for my family.
What would you say are your strongest talents? How are you 'wired' and what can you offer to the world (it's OK if you don't know yet, but knowing is key to pursuing your dreams!)?
I am "wired" as more of an introvert. I offer a calm and steady head during "busy" life. I am a rock strong individual that is a solid foundation for a team while still having a smile on my face and have fun.

I'll have lived in Ashton 8 yrs on this Thanksgiving. My grandma was born there.  She was a Harrigfeld.

Quiet Dolls are these cute doll patterns I designed.  You can cut two out of a standard piece of felt. I have over 50 pattern pieces I've designed.  I've got a techie friend who is polishing up my e-book and then I'll start posting pictures on my blog. There are mermaid tails, prom and princess dresses, poodle skirts and lots more.   Once I figure out how to sell this e-book I've got lots more in the works.  All your kids might like them- they don't tear, and you can get real creative.

I can walk you through the soap process and get you some good recipes.  I'm writing a book for a company on making soaps with their essential oils- really didn't intend for that to happen but anything for house money right now.  I first learned about making soap when we raised goats and had extra milk.  It is intimidating at first and then fun. A soap business has lots of advantages but takes a safe place away from kids.  Perfect for me now that all mine are in school.

You sound like me on the "always wanting to try new things or I get bored".   I have to be careful not to get totally scattered and distracted.  Nice to meet you.  I was headed for Boise around the first but not sure we can make the trip.  I went to Capital HS in Boise way back when.  My folks live close to Koelsch- I don't even remember if I'm spelling that  right :)  some alumni I am.

How fun that you found and friended me!  My folks still live in Boise and I'm over in Eastern Idaho.  Good job on the SAHM decision.  Liked your writing style on the Hub site.  How old are you kids?  Mine range from 24- 6.  Why I ask is I'm working on My Quiet Dolls and wonder if you have a girl or young boy that is the right age to enjoy them?
