HI Roberta,
Thanks for your participation. You are right. Helping out in a way that is aligned with your calling is a great way to go.
Most people just look for what is "available" is trying to helping out. Not many folks seek out ways to help out…
Hi Stephanie,
Thank you for bring there. She needed to hear from your heart. What a story.
What was it specifically for you? (The word you left _______ in your comment.)
Be blessed.
How did you hear about 48Days.NET, and what do you hope to get out of being a part of this community?
I started working with Joel after emailing Dan Miller asking for help.
What is your current work situation? Employee, self-employed, generating any income on your own?
Employed
And then...what is the goal/dream you are striving for regarding your work life?
I want to find my calling so each morning when I get up I can't wait to get started.
How about your personal life? Any specific goals or achievements or dreams you are pursuing (or want to pursue)?
My husband and I are tring to become debt free.
What would you say are your core competencies? How are you 'wired' and what can you offer to the world (it's OK if you don't know yet, but knowing is key to pursuing your dreams!)?
I have discovered that I am a server just not complete on the how and where yet.

Hi Stephanie,
Good to hear from you. You could do both things you suggested. Also, I would recommend that you talk with my friend Andy. He is awesome about those types of things.Would it be OK if I gave him your contact info? Here is his page on the network.
PS Also, check out the free e-resource I offer entitled Goal-Setting That Actually Works! ($47 Value) to those who join the REAL Success E-Zine community (also free) at www.liveitforward.com. I think you'll really get a ton out of both these resources.

Hi Stephanie,
Thank you for sharing this with me. What a wonderful story. I look forward to hearing more of the organization and the opportunity.
A volunteer position can be a great way to see if something is tailored made for you.
Have a great Labor Day weekend and talk to you soon.
You are so welcome. Enjoy the site--it can feel overwhelming, but it's powerful!
AS for advice, here's my first (and best) suggestion. One of the most powerful things about 48Days.NET is the many Groups. You can hit the ‘Groups’ tab above and search for anything you are interested in. I happen to lead a couple of groups here for folks interested in writing or speaking. Not sure if you have interest in those areas, but if so, I’d be honored to offer what I can and include you in our discussions. In fact, I'd love to have you jump into the discussion. The more voices, the more we all learn.
Here are the links to these two groups:
* Speak It Forward -- REAL Success and Profit for Speakers!
* Write It Forward -- REAL Success and Profit for Writers!
Anyway, bottom line. Find groups you like and join. Be sure to follow everything on these sites. Then, block out everything else.
PS One other thing...I offer a free e-resource entitled Goal-Setting That Actually Works! ($47 Value) to those who join the REAL Success E-Zine community (also free) at www.liveitforward.com. Feel free to check it out. I really think you'll get a ton out of both these resources.
