How did you hear about 48Days.NET, and what do you hope to get out of being a part of this community?
Heard the podcast from iTunes. I am starting a project which I believe is unique and need lots of advice from you good folks!!
What is your current work situation? Employee, self-employed, generating any income on your own?
Working as a Computer Engineer
and selling watercolors on ebay
And then...what is your goal/dream for your work life?
The future for the work I do looks distinctly 'dodgy' with regards to the economy. So pre-emptively looking for opportunity before my own personal 'crunch' !
How about your personal life? Any specific goals or achievements or dreams you are pursuing (or want to pursue)?
Just future security for my family.
What would you say are your strongest talents? How are you 'wired' and what can you offer to the world (it's OK if you don't know yet, but knowing is key to pursuing your dreams!)?
I am creative and sociable (and modest!!)
Do you have a website presence anywhere?
http://paintmyphoto.ning.com
If you have a product or service to promote (now or in the near future) this is your shot to state it! Say all you'd like:
I am owner of paintmyphoto a social site where photographers share their work as inspiration for artists without copyright worries. Looking at services to add there in future

I published my first 'how to' art ebook on Amazon in October last year. It is selling 8 - 10 copies a day and makes me around £400 ($670)

This proved the concept to me, as I have a website used by artists, I have now many contacts. I approached wildlife artist David Stribbling, he was…

Keep making stuff online- it all builds!

Well, ebook is just about done, graphic design is being put together now. So some samples should soon be available. What I wanted to mention is the fact that creating Artwork and ebooks is never a waste of time. Stuff lives on and can be modified to help with future promotions. For example I made my portraits ebook originally as a product which I sold online, move forward a couple of years and now I have it available… Continue

As I mentioned earlier, Ted Yoder has allowed me to use his music in my videos. I wonder if this could be an example for others to follow? Certainly many people enjoy music and also seeing paintings made. However it is not limited to painting, perhaps you do a craft that others would find fascinating to see being produced? To use Seth Godin's Prompting We have to Ship! Well, Ted and I present a work combining me painting, him making his amazing music. I think I got the best end of the deal!…

How much free stuff is too much?

Posted on March 28, 2011 at 4:14am 0 Comments

I have taken the decision, rightly or wrongly, to produce much more video as part of my marketing for my 'fearless' painting methods. Literally showing how entire paintings are produced, as I type this, the first of the new series is uploading to youtube. So all I have to show will be visible in this way! However I am hoping people will want more granular advice and detail. Another 'aside' on this project a member here,… Continue

I think demos at craft events are a great idea. I am sure they would make great Christmas gifts. Are you going to demo the videos and the Simmtrace?

Roy, my painting projects are on hold while I try to get my studio/crafty room finished. We have a room over the garage that was not finished when we bought the house 2 years ago. It is a a slow process as we finish it little by little. We are doing the work ourselves here an there when we have the time. It will be great when it is finished. Hopefully once that is done I can get serious about painting.
Your Dvd trailer looks really good. You must be really excited!
