Hi Rob,

I appreciate the encouraging email! I'm still a rookie when it comes to the online world, but hope to get more involved here as the summer progresses.

Soon,

Mike

Thanks for the welcome Rob. I don't have a presence for Abused and Battered Children, just an interest in that area.

I bought Dan's book several years ago but didn't do anything with it but now that I am unemployed it sounded like a good time to find out more about what is going on.

Again, thanks for your response and the info.

Thanks for the welcome Rob. I downloaded your free stuff today and will be going through it soon. I've had a couple interviews for jobs recently, but nothing I really want to do. I have to be honest, I'm struggling with the passion part right now. The last three years have been challenging and I'm pretty beat up.

I tried teaching music in school after graduating college, but didn't like it. I needed to get a job to earn a living so I applied at the phone company. Next thing you know I've been there 25 years and they are downsizing me. Decided to do the personal trainer thing since I loved lifting weights and staying fit. Well, training people not as motivated as me was not enjoyable. So hear I am trying to find myself at 53. I love music, playing bass guitar in our church praise band, but just don't see how I can go anywhere with that. I keep praying, hoping that soon the lightbulb goes off and I find "it."

Thanks for the words of encouragement and for listening.

Rob hey thanks for the comment and the tips.  Your sight looks distinctive within your frame of reference but I do hold a couple of things against your comments.  This 48 days is a collection of rule benders and free thinkers.  That being said, I would like to encourage you to approach every single blog here mentioning any other religious item and tell them the "rule" that which you pointed out to me so adamantly.  I also encourage you to go through the last two weeks worth of blogs and notice that I do not comment, I like them alot and press the button.  The main reason for that is because I write on my computer and I read on my Nook.  Have you tried typing on a touch screen for any length of writing?  It's not exactly fun or easy.   The sad part remains here you don't know me but yet you want to judge and ostracize me and make me feel like I am nothing worth your time.  Don't read it then please.  The way you said that diatribe was not helpful or friendly, your approach could use a peek in the mirror.

I was quite ticked off about your commenting on only my posts and not others.  SO before I decided to comment I decided that you DONT know me and don't make the mistake of getting too lofty.  That's my wonderful advice for you.  I may not be where you are at but I have not treated anyone here but with kindness and fairness..  And in that same vein I would like to inform and have space for my opinions.  So what if I may talk about something religious.  I'm not the only one spouting scriptures and I have not seen the rule book anywhere.  Trust me, I have looked.  In other words, I do appreciate the advice but don't act like you can pick on only me for your own whatever reason.  I'm not going to accept that.  The reason I had posted so many was inspiration struck and I like how you gave me some great insights into how to do it better.  Thank you for that but at the same time, no one else was posting.  I really don't like when I'm coming here for something fresh and nothing is fresh to read for blogs.  I am new to this you are correct but I'm no stranger to this.  So please be fair.  Pro bloggers are not trying to fit everyone else into their mold but rather to create their own.  Jesus himself was constantly battled by people who thought the rules were the way to truth.  Poor Pharisees and Sadduccees missed the point.  People are still missing the point.  No, I could care less who or what you worship, thats not my thing and I'm sure not trying to convert anyone like this is a team and the other side is the enemy.  I need to set myself apart from that game and enjoy the unique life I am called for, whether I step on toes or not.  So I apologize for not putting more words up in my blogs before posting the link to where they are but I do not apologize for my reference to Christ or the Bible or the devil or gays or whatever else may offend.  "Forget about games, Ima spit the truth" from Chris Bridges.  Quite the motto to live by.  The truth means impartiality.  Thank you and may you continue to be prosperous and be given wisdom in matters.

Nice to meet you Rob, and thanks for the initiation.  I appreciate this resource already.  Career coaching, income building, passion finding and pursuing are really why I'm here.  After reading so many of these stories, I feel so near-sighted and lacking in the creativity department.  But I think that I've found the right group of friends to get this thing going.  First thing's first... mission statements.

Hi Rob,

Thank you so much for your warm welcome and for taking the time to get to know what I do. As you saw, I have a very deep passion for didgeridoo and have moved at least part time into it as my vocation. I'm working towards my goal of moving into this full time. It's been very meaningful to me to bring this instrument to people who have never heard it before but more over it also indulges my passion for sound and how it works.

I look forward to exploring what is here at 48 Days and connecting with others who are pursuing their passions.

Many thanks again and take care,

Pam
