How did you hear about 48Days.NET, and what do you hope to get out of being a part of this community?
From Reading "48 Days to the work you Love" and "No More Mondays"
What is your current work situation? Employee, self-employed, generating any income on your own?
Self Employed for 14 years. My wife and I own and operate a Garage Door Business, in Michigan. My heart is for Coaching Worn-Out and Frustrated Entrepreneurs who need someone to walk with them while getting focused on their unique gift to this world.
And then...what is your goal/dream for your work life?
I would like to expand my work to professional speaking, consulting, and coaching. It is my desire to inspire people to be more intentional about the legacy they will leave, primarily by living the life they were created to live.
How about your personal life? Any specific goals or achievements or dreams you are pursuing (or want to pursue)?
I want to actually enjoy my free time, instead of worrying about what I should be doing. I guess I want to be "joyfully productive" most of the time (whatever that means)LOL...It's my dream to be able to travel and speak a message of Hope that inspires people to discover and live their best life.
What would you say are your strongest talents? How are you 'wired' and what can you offer to the world (it's OK if you don't know yet, but knowing is key to pursuing your dreams!)?
I Love People, and I have pretty good people skills. I love to here how people have triumphed over adversity. It's my goal everyday to have a positive impact on a least 1 person (brighten their day) I would like to expand that somehow to the world at large.
Do you have a website presence anywhere?

More than one website?

If you have a product or service to promote (now or in the near future) this is your shot to state it! Say all you'd like:
I own a residential garage door business in the Grand Rapids, MI area. We offer the best quality products, at very competetive prices, and we truly strive to offer the best possible service we can. I like to go to sleep each night knowing I treated my customers the way I like to be treated. I also have an interest in cool garage floors, and I'm building a website to help people decide which garage floor would be best for them. As I develop that site further, I hope to monetize it with affiliate links, and google ads.

This Is A Hold-Up!

Posted on September 5, 2012 at 2:46pm 0 Comments

Yes, I've actually been held at Gunpoint

When I was 18 years old, my first job right out of high school was working in a small plastics factory in a not so good area of town. I worked a night shift where we started at 6 PM and worked until 6 AM, we would work three days on and then we would have the next three days off, at which point we would start another three day cycle.

One night at about 2 AM a man came in the building and was talking to a fellow employee, the rest of us…

CPR for the CEO

Posted on August 9, 2012 at 1:51pm 4 Comments

I chose to use the term CEO because it had a nice ring to it,  but I am really talking to anyone who owns and operates their own business. The entrepreneur battling it out every single day, some of us love what we do, some of us hate what we do, and many of us are not really sure at all. Personally I spent years in this third category, it seemed as though I dreaded going to work almost every day, yet there was something inside that forced me…

The Currency Of Time

Posted on August 7, 2012 at 9:38am 2 Comments

Have you ever thought of time as currency? In many ways that is exactly what it is, especially if you are paid by how much time you spend working. If you are trading your time for money then in a very real sense time is currency.  The reality is that you are actually purchasing dollars with your time. The problem with this arrangement is that you only have just so much time, obviously when you run out of time your opportunity to purchase more money then vanishes as well.…

Get Your Head Right!

Posted on February 25, 2012 at 12:44pm 6 Comments

The very first thing the frustrated, discouraged, overwhelmed, burned out, and beat up entrepreneur needs to do before moving forward to a place of freedom is Get Your Head Right!!!

You need to realize that “YOU” are more than your business. “YOU” were “YOU” long before you went into business, and that your business doesn’t define who “YOU” are, or what your true value is.

What many struggling entrepreneurs tend to do is let every difficulty, failure, bad decision, and unmet…

Thanks for the kind words Randell, but in all fairness, I will always be on the receiving end of this community.  I've been listening and applying Dan's formulas since the early days on real-radio when I lived in Vash-Vegas.

Thanks Mr. Olson,

I can tell that I am going to love this network. Just you suggestion me to get involved is to me a form of accountability. I'm former US Army and that is symbolic to me as not leaving the wounded on the battlefield! Love it!

Thanks for having me!

God bless!
