Selling My Homebrew Kit

Posted on March 13, 2012 at 8:56am 3 Comments

Recently, I wrote about what I learned from brewing my own beer and how it wasn’t what I thought it was going to be. Given that realization, I decided to sell my homebrew equipment.

I’m reporting to you that, over the weekend, someone came and bought it and it’s no longer collecting…

A former nurse, Bronnie Ware,  who cared for patients in their final weeks of life, recently wrote about some of her experiences in her book.

Share Your Own IDC

As you may know, 4 months ago, Claudia and I started the IDC Project. We did this because we’ve realized how much what we do, say, and the decisions we make are influenced by what others may think (click here to learn more about the IDC Project).

We’ve received an incredible response to this project! Many people have shared with us how this project has challenged them and how they are now doing their own…

How did you hear about 48Days.NET, and what do you hope to get out of being a part of this community?
48 Days Podcast
What is your current work situation? Employee, self-employed, generating any income on your own?
Self-employed creating the work I love!
And then...what is the goal/dream you are striving for regarding your work life?
To start and grow Soundboard Music School. I'll be doing some of the teaching myself and also have other teachers working for me.
How about your personal life? Any specific goals or achievements or dreams you are pursuing (or want to pursue)?
- to move to Colorado within the next 2 years
- to grow our community over at rise365.com
- to be home 20 more hours per week after I quit my job
- to GAIN 10 pounds
- to run twice a week
- to read 2 books a month
- to surround myself with others that are already achieving the level of success in life that I want

Those are a few of them, there are more to come!
What would you say are your core competencies? How are you 'wired' and what can you offer to the world (it's OK if you don't know yet, but knowing is key to pursuing your dreams!)?
I'm an introvert and a logical thinker. I like things orderly and neat and enjoy making them that way.

I love working by myself best. I enjoy people but feel drained after a while.

I have skills with music, the classical guitar in particular and have a degree in music education.

I also like to encourage others.
Do you have a website presence anywhere?

Here's what I came up with, Mike. If you like it, I can create a grayscale version for business cards, letterhead, and the like. I chose the mustard color based on your website.

Hello Michael,

I try to take time each week to welcome new members to 48Days.Net. So, let me say "welcome" to you! I know you will find this to be a great site filled with people who are experiencing true success in both life and work.

Also, I'd like to point out that one of the best places to connect with other liked-minded people here is in the GROUPS section. There are groups for just about every interest you can think of, and if you can't find a group that interests you, you can start one. Groups are my favorite part of 48Days.Net!

Finally, if you happen to be a speaker or author (or want to become either), check out these two groups. They are two of the most popular groups on the site because of all the great conversation taking place:

* Speak It Forward -- REAL Success and Profit for Speakers!
* Write It Forward -- REAL Success and Profit for Writers!

Again, enjoy 48Days.Net. It's a great place to be!

Live it forward,
Kent Julian

Welcome Michael!

Just wanted to say hello and welcome you to this great website.

You will not find a better group of people to help you get to a higher place of excellence. The best advice I can give you is to get involved.

Take advantage of the wisdom....you will not regret it!

Please let me know how I can help in anyway!
