Yes, Melissa, folks are willing to pay $12 -$15 for baby t-shirt and such. Actually they will pay much more for items they like! I encourage you to go for it. Many of the sites don't cost you anything but time. Give it a try and let me know how you…

About your website - I would go with a wordpress theme. You could do so much more with that and it would look a lot more professional. You could also update a blog regularly and it would help with seo. PM me if you need help!

Profile Information

How did you hear about 48Days.NET, and what do you hope to get out of being a part of this community?
The 48Days podcast. I'm hoping to find help and support, and a boost to the kind of business education you don't get in classes. I'm looking to grow some business sense.
What is your current work situation? Employee, self-employed, generating any income on your own?
Employee
And then...what is the goal/dream you are striving for regarding your work life?
Looking to generate more income on my own, and eventually move to self-employment.
How about your personal life? Any specific goals or achievements or dreams you are pursuing (or want to pursue)?
Newlywed. I want to publish in a variety of mediums on the web, for both information and entertainment purposes.
What would you say are your core competencies? How are you 'wired' and what can you offer to the world (it's OK if you don't know yet, but knowing is key to pursuing your dreams!)?
Balanced, artistic, optimistic, like new things and ideas, but not prone to get carried away unrealistically.

Hi Melissam
It's been a while since you joined 48days. I see from your profile that you are an employee but want to be self employed. How is that going?

I host a group called "Baby Steps To Business" here on 48days.net and I want to invite you. We are planning several upcoming free teleconferences on startup topics like: Market Research, Leadership/Influence, Sales, and Franchises. I hope you will join us.

I also provide coaching for startups if you want to accelerate your progress and get to being fully self employed sooner. Just let me know.

Peace

Hello! I saw you on the UT group, how goes your solar energy podcast? I am very interested in Alternative Energy and distributed generation (people in control of their own power generation) could you use a co-host, editor helper, or partner in general?
I have also been looking for a local graphic artist to partner with, are you at all interested in doing graphic arts work for websites that I build?

There aren't many of us out there:-) Publishing info on the web is a great way to make $$ and I think a new path for many artists. I can't wait to see what you do & hopefully I can be an encouragement to you!

Melissa,

Sounds like you have some great talents and your in a great spot to be starting off. Have you taken Dan's personality profile? If you haven't it can help you with understanding a lot about your personality traits and could really help with designing something from scratch in your position.

If I only knew then what I know now.....

Best of luck,

Jay
