- How did you hear about 48Days.NET, and what do you hope to get out of being a part of this community?
- I've read 48 Days and subscribe to the newsletter. I hope to pick up some insights and encouragement in my journey to find what I would be good and happy doing. I also expect to offer insights and encouragement to others as well.
- What is your current work situation? Employee, self-employed, generating any income on your own?
- Self-employed but currently looking for employment. Torn between the need to get money doing anything I can and trying to establish and market my compentencies.
- And then...what is the goal/dream you are striving for regarding your work life?
- Enjoyment of work, stability and growth. Still trying to find my niche and work in it with confidence regardless of the times we're in. I have been self-employed but never felt like I have a special competency. I am trying to find it and hone it.
- How about your personal life? Any specific goals or achievements or dreams you are pursuing (or want to pursue)?
- I hope to sail my boat further each year and gain more knowledge of the sailing life, increase my nautical skills and knowledge, visit more places in my sailing area. Become a more comfortable, confident and competent captain.
- What would you say are your core competencies? How are you 'wired' and what can you offer to the world (it's OK if you don't know yet, but knowing is key to pursuing your dreams!)?
- Support oriented. Like to promote ideas, like to help people. I can be a little creative. See myself as a communicator/organizer. Get excited collaborating with other and communicating new info. Enjoy creating and projecting a new image/idea.
- If you have a product or service to promote (now or in the near future) this is your shot to state it! Say all you'd like:
- I have an IT consulting background in project management and business analysis, but am developing a business concept to offer business documentation services geared towards capturing and documenting process and procedures for companies that don't a good job of this on their own, or at all. These companies often are dependent on individuals who perform task that leadership doesn’t even know are critical to operations internally or externally. This service will provide the ownership/management a full library of documents that show in diagrams and writing how their business runs. The result is better awareness of operations, compliance, legal or operational exposures that can be remedied.
