Oh? there wasn't a Q. 4? Well, then just call it my bonus add-on
:o)

And then...what is the goal/dream you are striving for regarding your work life?

Details Coming Soon!

I can say that it will entail several [loosely] related endeavors. For now, I can also add that:

I want to be an evangelist. I love God, love reading and sharing the Word, love singing praises to Him, love and take great comfort in prayer, love sharing spiritual/biblical encouragement, love music, and love people...

My heart breaks for orphans and my anger is quickly flamed by child and elder abuse! I feel strong empathy for people who are oppressed and/or distressed and as such, also feel it is a privilege when others turn to me to help them find a solution. I don’t necessarily want to be the person who actually (physically/literally) makes the changes happen for others. e.g. I'd rather encourage/support the couple who adopts an orphan than be the one who adopts him.

I see the [social] world as a web of relationships, and I'm always excited by the prospect of connecting people who can help one another to be successful.

How about your personal life? Any specific goals or achievements or dreams you are pursuing (or want to pursue)?

Dedicated to creating a community full of virtuous, empathetic, diverse christian leaders and a network of caring friends and associates, where future and current leaders can meet, learn, share, grow, and promote each other in success.

What would you say are your core competencies? How are you 'wired' and what can you offer to the world (it's OK if you don't know yet, but knowing is key to pursuing your dreams!)?

Persuaders possess these positive characteristics in teams:
• Instinctive communicators • Good sense of humor • Participative managers who influence and inspire • Motivate the team • Spontaneous and agreeable • Respond well to the unexpected • Create an atmosphere of well-being • Enthusiastic • Provide direction and leadership • Express ideas well • Work well with other people • Make good spokespersons • Will offer opinions • Persuasive • Have a positive attitude • Accomplish goals through people • Strong in brainstorming sessions

Inspirational & Intuitive: As an "I" style, your personality is similar to Biblical heroes like the Apostle Peter, Barnabas, Abigail and Miriam. All of these people had charisma; and with their ability to encourage and inspire others, they were popular people to be around. Peter was the natural spokesperson for the twelve apostles, Abigail went and spoke to David on behalf of her foolish husband Nabal and inspired David to take the high road in a bad situation.

Thanks Marilyn for getting back to me. I think the bartering is a great idea. It was useful before and will be much more useful with our economy. It definitely uses peoples talents. I'm sorry we didn't get to do more networking while in class. I'm sure we will run into each other again.
Have a nice day!

Hi, Marilyn!
I'm sorry I haven't gotten back to you. My friend got metal fragments in his eye at work, and I've been busy taking him back and forth to the doctors. I am very interested in your suggestions about promoting my iTunes single, "Wonderful Tonight". Check your messages, please.

About the Milton Berle quote; I've heard a similar idea from someone else,"If your ship doesn't come in, swim out to it!"

Thanks, Marilyn, for the welcome. I am very involved in the private voluntary barter currency movement. By the end of the Great Depression there were over 33,000 local currencies across the nation, because it was a simple, effective way to boost local economies. I guess you could consider 48 Days a virtual local economy. :) Anyway, I design and sell such local currencies in the form of silver rounds. If there was enough interest it would be a cinch to create a 48Days barter currency. The difficulty is that we're spread across the U.S., so trading them could prove difficult.

Thanks again for the warm welcome!
