Waiting on God

Waiting is so hard, but everyone waits. We wait in traffic. We wait in the line at the grocery store. We wait for a table in a busy restaurant. These kinds of waiting may be inconvenient, but we know the waiting is temporary and we can usually estimate how long we’ll have to wait. Somehow knowing when the waiting will end makes it more tolerable. But what about the waiting that lasts for days, months or years and has no definite outcome, such as:Waiting for a job offerWaiting for a loved one to…See More

Alternatives to Investing in the Stock Market

Confidence in the stock market has decreased over the past few years especially after the stock market crash in 2008, but we need to invest for our future so what else can we do?

Consider decreasing investments in the stock market and increase investing in the following tangible assets:
Your Home – Your home is likely your biggest expense each month and will consume a large portion of your retirement income if you still have a mortgage when you retire. Could you pay your mortgage or rent if…See More

Fighting Fatigue With Words

It seems lately that being tired has become the norm. In fact, there are countless articles about the common reasons for fatigue, such as not enough restful sleep, dehydration, too much unhealthy food, and not enough exercise, but did you know that words can make you feel tired?Your own words can cause you to feel tired or energized and the words of others can do the same. For example, I feel more tired after watching the news which is mostly negative than I do after watching a comedy.…See More

Mother’s Day: 3 Ways to Honor Your Mother

Mother’s Day in the United States was started in 1908 by Anna Jarvis, and it was made a national holiday by President Woodrow Wilson in 1914 (Wikipedia). Mother’s Day is the second Sunday in May (i.e. May 13, 2012).Some of you may delight in honoring your mother, but for many this is not the case. Victory in Finances: 7 Things You May Not Know About Taxes

Individual tax returns for 2011 are due on Tuesday, April 17, 2012, and like me you may be wondering about some of these things.1. Taxes have been collected for thousands of years originally for military purposes. In the United States, Federal income tax collection began in the late 1800’s to fund the Civil War. Although taxes were later abolished for a short period of time, the 16th Amendment to the Constitution passed in 1909 and ratified in 1913 gave Congress the legal authority to collect…See More

I know I'm right there with you.  I was going to mention my special offers to my 48 days friends at the beginning of the year - and as far as Twitter and Linked in - neither is hard (I know this because if I can do them - they cannot be difficult!!) If you need help - I'm no expert but I am certainly glad to help any way I can.

Thank you Marianne for adding me as a friend!  My pleasure to accept.  I got my bookmarks in the mail - they are beautiful and will make a wonderful gift to clients.  Beautiful job.  I'm definitely keeping one set for my Bible.

Hi Marianne,

Funny that your sister's called Charlotte and used to live in Germany. :) I have also lived here exactly five years now, though it seems like I will stay here indefinitely (I come from Sweden).

I see that your website is under construction. Do send me a message if you need any hand holding.

Hope your book is coming along fine!

Hi Marianne,

Thanks for completing the survey and I just read your results. I hope I can be an inspiration to you and with all you have planned, I'm sure you'll inspire me as well. Oh, and thanks for catching discussed. It is fixed now. For some reason, the question fields don't spell-check in Firefox. I'm now happy there was only one mistake. :)

I don't know why the 'plan' wouldn't open. Here is another link to it, but if for some reason this link doesn't work either, look in the discussion archives for a discussion called The Strengthen My Spiritual Life Plan.

Looking forward to reading your testimony, and I'm getting ready to record mine. :) (I'm going to try audio, but am a little nervous.)

Have a great weekend!

~Cam
