Yep that's correct. The book is Pop - by Sam Horn. Great resource for naming a book, a presentation or a business.

Hi Marc, I'm pretty sure the book you're thinking of is Pop!: Create the Perfect Pitch, Title, and Tagline for Anything. I've been meaning to check it out myself. Debbie

I am wanting to start a tax/bookkeeping business at year's end, and am looking for a catchy name. Dan has mentioned a book on his podcast before that is an excellent resource for this, but I can't remember the title. Can anyone help me out? Thanks a…

I heard of someone o ebay buying up older computers and putting Ubunto OS on them and then selling them. Apparently this OS runs much faster than Windoze, and it is completely free.

Profile Information

How did you hear about 48Days.NET, and what do you hope to get out of being a part of this community?
I heard about it through the podcast on Itunes
What is your current work situation? Employee, self-employed, generating any income on your own?
Work construction as an electrician through a union hall. I am a "temp", and have been so for 30+ years. Though not truly self-employed, it is as close as I can get without actually owning the company.
And then...what is the goal/dream you are striving for regarding your work life?
Trying to become a CPA and open my own firm. I am halfway through the 150 hours needed to get my CPA certificate.
How about your personal life? Any specific goals or achievements or dreams you are pursuing (or want to pursue)?
To build a successful accounting practice where English is spoken, as opposed to Finance-speak, and become an ELP through Dave Ramsey. To get out of debt.To travel and see the USA
What would you say are your core competencies? How are you 'wired' and what can you offer to the world (it's OK if you don't know yet, but knowing is key to pursuing your dreams!)?
I am wired on the DISC test as a high C and high S. I am too much the perfectionist. I am analytical, good with math, and want to turn out a good service to people without sacrificing quality.
