Success Starts With Fitness

Success Starts With Fitness is a group where we can share ideas about the fitness business, exercise tips, nutrition and overall health. I'm sure we've all heard Dan Miller tell his story about his one client that he started off by having him exercise every day. That was the first step in his client the cheating self-confidence and success. I believe with this group we can encourage others to take the same journey on their path to success.See More

Profile Information

How did you hear about 48Days.NET, and what do you hope to get out of being a part of this community?
A networking arena in which entrepreneurs can share their ideas, successes, struggles, and knowledge regarding their businesses.

Also, this will give me a unique sense of motivation when it comes to reading and listening to other people and how they make the most out of their purpose in life.
What is your current work situation? Employee, self-employed, generating any income on your own?
Staff member of a small liberal arts college where I am the acting Intramural Program Coordinator. Providing inclusive recreational activities for all students, faculty, staff, and the local community.
And then...what is your goal/dream for your work life?
To make a difference in using the talents God has blessed me with including athletic ability, leadership, communication, and my outgoing personality.

As a part time extra income position, hopefully I can produce articles and books regarding the student-athlete experience and how to work with this ever expanding population. Along with using my talents in assessment for consulting in higher education.
How about your personal life? Any specific goals or achievements or dreams you are pursuing (or want to pursue)?
I would like to have personal fulfillment in life. My purpose is where "my passions and the world's deep hunger meet" and God has shown me that this past year.

If the Lord chooses for me to have a family then I would like to provide for them and encourage our growth as humans.
What would you say are your strongest talents? How are you 'wired' and what can you offer to the world (it's OK if you don't know yet, but knowing is key to pursuing your dreams!)?
I am a leader. The energy that I have for projects shows each day and I can share that enthusiasm with other people so they feel the want to participate and make a difference in our world.

Time management is a great skill that I have learned and am working on mastering every day with my "private and public victories" (Covey).

Lara, thanks for your note - sorry it took so long to respond.  I'm no longer working for the sustainable builder, now just running my sustainable transportation non-profit "Positive Spin" www.positivespin.org for more info.  Would like to hear about what you're doing, especially if you've got a networking or peer group.  I'm looking to find others who are working for positive change.

Hello Lara,

Just noticed you joined 48Days.net -- WELCOME! It's a great site with tons of great people.

If you happen to be a speaker or author (or want to become either), check out the following groups. They are two of the most popular groups on the site because of all the great conversation taking place.

* Speak It Forward -- REAL Success and Profit for Speakers!
* Write It Forward -- REAL Success and Profit for Writers!

One other thing…I want to offer you a gift. You can download my FREE e-resource entitled Goal-Setting That Actually Works! by joining the REAL Success E-Zine community at www.liveitforward.com. It's a growing and dynamic community of people striving to live WAY BEYOND their average in the most important roles of their lives. I think you'll get a ton out of both the Goal-Setting product and the REAL Success E-Zine. And again, both are absolutely free.

Looking forward to connecting with you!
